Christmas Hammock Camp - Cooking a Christmas Dinner in the Woods
I met up with some good friends and we headed out into the woodland to enjoy a festive hammock camp together. Many of the guys had never hammock camped before, so it was a great learning experience for them - they thoroughly enjoyed it!
We cook a full Christmas Dinner over the open fire using a pair of dutch ovens, enjoying roast chicken, a shoulder of pork and all the festive veg and stuffing! A fine beer selection and a choice single malt finished the evening off nicely.
I had a great time and it was just what I needed, to get away from it all and relax in the Great Outdoors! Links to all the lads channels are further below.

Love it! Looked like a good laugh. As you said, the smell of woodsmoke evoke images of Autumn , bonfires as a kid and good times ( I have a November birthday) so always associate this time of year with the best of times. ATB Chris … and the rest of the lads.

That looked like an awesome night...Good bit of banter and great food too ........How early do we start with the Christmas dinners these days ???? I am expecting another lockdown anytime soon so probably a wise idea...Boris and his band of bell ends will be reccommending we eat Turkey through a straw whilst wearing a mask because of the latest varient due to be spun up no doubt ! Make the most of your freedom boys.

Oh, I have a hundred and one hammock questions for Tony lol. I always look forward to my Christmas dinner every year, never had one outside before and have to say, the ham looked great being prepared, I hope it tasted as good as it looked.
