It gives no reason why it can’t be shipped to your address, only that it can’t be shipped to a wish list address. Do you have any other address where it could be shipped-I understand you want to keep you residential address private-but is there any alternate address where you could receive it?

Congratulations for not only successfully completing your first semester, but acing all of your exams, Dari! One of my favorite Christmas stories is The Shepherd by Frederick Forsyth, who is best known for his thrillers like The Day of the Jackal and The Odessa File. It was originally a gift to his wife, who requested a ghost story. Now a short 2023 film on Disney+ (but I still recommend reading the book even over the movie). Thank you for the neighborhood tour. Being from a tropical country, I don’t envy the freezing temperatures! 😁 I know it can be difficult being alone at Christmastime so thank you for taking the time to share with us this vlog! 🥹 Wishing you a prosperous New Year ahead!

If you have time, Dari, please add "Miracle on 34th Street" (the 1994 version) to your list of must-see Christmas movie recommendations. The entire film takes place in NYC starting with the Thanksgiving Day parade, and is every bit of heartwarming and funny you could possibly want in a Christmas movie. It even features a Russian-speaking Santa Claus, how's that for a tease?😀This movie doesn't get quite the recognition or fanfare of some other Christmas titles, which I think is a pity because it's a childhood favorite of mine that I still enjoy coming back to watch over and over again especially at Christmas.

A lot of native NYers take vacation Christmas week (or work from home) just so they could avoid going into Manhattan, with all the tourists and traffic. Even the museums are unbearable. Personally, I just sit home all week (and watch Christmas horror movies 🎃!) and wait for things to calm down in January.

Wow, they have an Arabica Coffee House! Used to be one of my favorites when I was single and living in Indiana. ( about 18 years ago) Also one of my good acquaintances lived in Queens, NY before he & his wife moved to Indiana to escape the high prices of living in the NYC area. My VPN usually connects me through NYC ,and occasionally through Charlotte, NC or SC. They have an interesting advertisement for Indoor Skydiving in the NYC area called iFly. Some of my Spainish co-workers are going to Kentucky to view the Creation Museum and the Ark. I tried to talk them into seeing the Natural Bridge too. Most of my co-workers including myself are staying home or going to Columbus to shop or tour the arboretium. ( however you spell it, giant greenhouse with lots of plants from all around the world) A few may travel to Miami, FL to see their parents and family.
This video seems to be your Blue Christmas. IT was not your best effort to date. Since I was born here, I never thought of the States as particularly expensive. But I understand your disappointment that money is a factor and you can't go everywhere you would like. Like anything else in life, you have to pick your spots and make the most of the choices you make. You have already been to places I have never been to, even though I've lived here all of my life, like New York City, Washington,Niagara Falls, and Sleepy Hollow, just to mention a few. If you have to start saving your pennies to go visit places you really want to see, then get out your Piggy Bank and fill it up to the top. Your friends won't always be able to come with you, and if you have to go solo to see what you want to see,don't hold back. Get on the road and go! It's great that you're invited to somebody's home for Christmas dinner. I wish you had included that experience in the video. It's too bad that some of your friends are leaving the States but every time a door closes a new one seems to open. You just have to keep your eyes open, as well as your heart. Arguably, America's favorite Christmas movie is "It's a Wonderful Life," starring Jimmy Stewart. It is a classic that is shown on television every Christmas season. I like your favorite Christmas movies, especially the way you described how they affected your personality. That was a real meaningful insight into your character. Looks like you made the Dean's List for your final exams with all the A's you got. It''s especially impressive since you come from Russia and you're having to do all the work in English. I couldn't order a glass of water if I was in Moscow and the menu was in Russian, so you're way ahead of the game. I really hope you're in a better mood for New Years. That is not one of my favorite holidays but I do like to watch when they drop the Crystal Ball during the Happy New Year countdone in Times Square, and then the fireworks are set off. I hope you enjoy it alongside of your friends, whoever they may be. So, I'll say in advance, "Happy New Year" in the USA. Honestly, it doesn't really get much better than this! Admit it. Don't be Scrooge or The Grinch. You've got it made in the good old USA. Keep giving it "the old College try" and it'll get better and better as time goes by!

Congratulations on your first semester of grad school! My favorite Christmas movie is White Christmas. It is from 1954 with Bing Crosby and a beautiful lady, Vera Ellen. For New Years eve you have to go to Times Square! Make sure you go to the bathroom before entering the secure area.
For New Year’s Eve, it gets really cold that night, and downtown is insane, you might want to find a small private party, stay warm for that night. Hopefully you’ll one day enjoy NYE here in Las Vegas, it’s warmer, and the party on Fremont Street awaits you! 👍
