CHRISTMAS IN THE COTSWOLDS - PART 1// We are so happy to have been able to film a bit of Christmas content for you in the beautiful and picturesque Cotswolds. We hope you will enjoy the first part of Christmas in the Cotswolds. Joerg and I stayed at Buckland Manor for one night which gave us enough time to plan our content and visit the Cotswolds villages that are always worth sharing. Enjoy! Kirsten & Joerg xx

I knew this video would make me feel Christmasy (and it did), so I made a cup of English Breakfast tea, got all cozy on the couch with the cat, and nibbled on a gingerbread cookie while I took in the lovely Cotswolds with Kirsten and Joerg. It was just what was needed in this weird 2020 holiday season.

Favorite part of ENGLAND to visit has always been the cotswolds... Years ago my husband and I were doing a trade fair1990 at the NEC.... and we decided to stay in the cotswolds because it was a nicer place to stay... We retired to bed it was DECEMBER... WE WOKE UP NEXT MORNING TO FIND WE WERE SNOWED IN.it was sooooo beautiful .. LUCKILY MY STEP SON WAS STAYING NEAR THE SHOW SO HE COULD GET IN TO OPEN OUR STAND... OH WHAT MEMORIES THIS BRINGS BACK... BRINGS A TEAR TO MY EYE.... SADLY MY HUSBAND PASSED AWAY.IN 1998 😢. THE COTSWOLDS WILL ALWAYS HOLD A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART... ♥️

That church is so fantastic. The trees look like they've grown right into the stone. Nothing in the USA can match the beautiful stone architecture there in England. You are lucky! Thanks. Merry Christmas too.

Kirsten an Joerg, you both Certainly bring enchantment every step of the way , from village life to grand Manors with also Historic Churches , to Your PJ 's at the end of the day.. I most enjoyed the filming in rhe evening dusk an I felt a twinge of sadness that was caused by my Memories of a time of youth when discovering, exploring country life in Ireland back in the late 1950's I so appreciate your honest companionship an love how Joerg puts his arms around you so to express His love for you an in turn you declare your pride in Joerg , so lovely a couple . What a treat! My husband and I love the Cotswolds. It’s just what we needed to cheer us up. I love the villages and the honey coloured houses. The hotel was stunning, straight out of Jane Austin. You both looked great as usual, with your country attire. Thank you so much for taking us with you💕

Your video was in my feed and since I’m a total Anglophile 🇬🇧, I watched it! Everything is sooo beautiful 🤩 there in the magical Cotswolds ♥️. Living in the USA 🇺🇸 at this point in time my mood was terribly low. England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿, Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, and Ireland 🇮🇪 is the home 🏡 of all of my ancestors ♥️♥️♥️♥️. Thank you for taking us to a beautiful part of the country, which happens to be our favourite place! Not being able to go there at present we now feel as if we have been. I bought a small watercolor of St Edward's Church door a few years ago in a charity shop. I didn't know where it was or what the church was called until I randomly found a photo of the place. There wasn't a title on the painting, and I'd bought it at a trying time in my life. I came to think that it was sent to me as my Grandfather's name was Edward and that he was telling me everything would be ok. And it was like everything in life.. . eventually. What a beautiful room you ended up in and I wouldn't have wanted to stay in a room with a constant beep either. You got a better room as the view was just lovely. Glad you both had a lovely time together. We all deserve a little joy in life even more so at present. X

Oh my goodness! I about burst when I saw “Buckland Manor”. We stayed there three years ago. What a beautiful English manor Inn. We loved it so much. We also had a Christmas tree in our room. The public sitting rooms are so well done in that elegant English style. What a treat to see this. Thank you so much Kirsten and Jorge 🥰

Perfect way to end my evening before early bed. Can’t wait for Wednesday 8am when I finish work for 7days. Has been manic this morning with ppl queuing to get in our supermarket at 6am!! Silly ppl. Love the holiday also. Might watch tomorrow. I also watch the box of delights on Xmas eve all 6 1/2 hr episodes. It’s lovely 1930’s bbc drama filmed in the 80’s. Available on u tube to watch. I truly recommend it. It was written by children’s laureate James Masefield xx Merry Christmas to u both and can’t wait for part two xx

What stunning architecture and grounds! The front door of the church looked as if the trees had adorning it from Centuries ago..the bark was black and looked petrified! The window casements and iron works drew me in...a fairy tale come to life! You two live in such an Amazing part of the world..thank you for sharing it with us ! You will never know how much you two are helping me and many others cope with the pandemic. I have saved both parts of your Cotswolds video to watch on Christmas night here in California. My husband and I have traveled a fair amount, but my favorite place in the world is the Cotswolds. I have stood in many of the same places you show in the video. My favorite village was Burford, although they’re all charming.

Thank you for this video ,, brought tears to my eyes,, the cotswolds are second homeland to me . My Parents live in Cheltenham and I didnt manage to come to England due to the Pandemic. I have the most magical memories from strolling around Stow , Broadway and Winchcombe with my daughter and Grankid. You two are so lovely and authentic, keep doing the lovely work.

We love the Cotswolds,so,so pretty. We stayed at Luggers Hall,absolutely beautiful place. Really loved this video and you two looked cute in your jimjams. Many blessings to you both and have a wonderful time over the festive period.

The trees on each side of the church door look like petrified wood but I can see that they are alive. It looks like a hobbit door. The Cotswolds are so beautiful. Thank you for the lovely tour.
