3oz of gelatin for 1 cup of water seems like a lot; does this come out super thick?

Made this tonight! It was so hard getting it in the fridge w the top layer not set LOL it was swaying back and forth I was so nervous but finally got it up on the top shelf in the fridge! Lol 😂 note to self : use deeper pan next time ! 😂
