The problem is Jamie has totally NAILED EVERYTHING for Christmas Dinner ..and for me, Christmas couldn't come sooner lol. He's done Christmas beautifully perfect that i don't think he could top these classics ... Love you, Jamie .. looking forward to all your Christmas specials
I love the fact that his roasting pan is not one of those hugely expensive, perfect looking pans. It looks like the one I grew up with! Love the simplicity and honesty!
Very funny and also a heart warming cooking video. Love the part your mum was helping with working on the pork hock. Great ideas on the roasted potatoes as well as pork hock salad. Jamie's Christmas cooking is a classic now, can't have a Christmas without watching his Christmas 🎄 special beforehand.

This is my favourite thing. I love watching cooking shows based around holidays, especially Christmas. Would love another Jamie Xmas special. His friends and family are very entertaining to watch!
I think the stuffing and the gravy is the best at Christmas. I've always used pork mince with herbs for the stuffing, it even makes a smashin sandwich with Turkey and homemade cranberry sauce. Yummers

Doesn’t pulling the turkey out this far in advance before cooking dramatically increase the risk of food poisoning? Sure the inside will still be cool but the skin will have sat above 40 degrees F for probably an hour and a half of that time...
Jamie do A video on how to cook goose, trying to get one for Christmas. In the states for full disclosure, tried it one year and absolutely loved it. But I’m still always on the hunt for ideas for the perfect ghost dinner.

That is never Jamie doing all that acrobatics in that Turkey outfit. He is that agile in the kitchen period. Hevis a gastronomic genius but he is no Yogi
Edward no cause it‘s covered and the bird is so big it will retain enough heat for you to comfortably eat it (despite that you’ll eat the hot gravy on top of it anyways so it doesn’t matter really) and if thats not enough for you then you can pop it back in the oven for a few minutes to get the outside warm again (don‘t do it for too long though cause that‘ll defeat the purpose of resting it in the first place)
small Disclaimer though: I have never made turkey but the same principle goes for making roast chicken and since turkey has more mass it should keep the heat even longer than chicken. Just cover it well and it should be fine.@@Edward23409

You know, when I watch all these cooking shows and vids, I just can't help thinking that someone's got to do all the cleaning and washing up later on after the show. And that's so depressing.
