Beautiful ornaments. The offset tree topper is something that I will definitely make, either as a topper or table decoration.

I have not used my skew tool in a long time. Watching you work, I’m inspired to try and re-learn the skill. It will take practice I know.

You might try adding some sanding sealer before you paint to prevent the paint from bleeding into the grain. I have this problem as well even with hard maple.

It should help yes, but most of the time with acriliq paints I Don't have issues...thank you for suggestion

Very cool projects. I ran into the same problem with not having any green for my Christmas trees. Then my granddaughter (out of the mouths of babes....) told me, Grandpa, you know you can mix yellow and blue to make green. All I could do was laugh. 😂 Thanks for sharing... V

Both are very nice! I very much enjoy watching you use the skew; you have mastered it. I think the blue is a nice touch. When that sits on the top of a green tree it will not just blend in but will stand out and be a great addition! Thank you for sharing! Take care, Dave

For someone who's not very good at 'these ornament things' I think those came out very nice. So, no yellow paint to mix with the blue either? :-) As always a joy to watch your mastery of your tools. Thanks for the video!
