@@screwballteach very true! My best friend passed away a couple years ago from an embolism. It's hard to form life long relationships like that where it's real. People today are shallow and fake and have no integrity or honor.

@@bama2579 his was a sudden death. No warning or any idicitive factors that were visible to him prior to the life ending event. It burst and within 60 seconds it was over. I was devastated. 25+ years of friendship, through thick and thin. We were there for each others up and downs, best men at each other's wedding and a guy who never judged. It's part of life though... doesn't mean I have to like it!

Life isn’t just about being successful. You can be rich and so unhappy. But your guys passion is this type of things, some people might not understand what it is, but for the ones that do know why it so emotional. It feels so great to achieve something. It’s a goal I guess, a bucket list. I think it’s great and awesome.

Money is important but at the end of the day the memories formed is worth more than all of the gold in For Knox. The memories we all create through the car hobby and quite frankly any hobby are so priceless. Even if they do cost us money overtime. But oh man is it worth it.

I can confirm that west of salt lake is a speeders dream. I live in the west desert, in fact i can see the salt flats from my back porch, i honestly have no idea how fast i am going most of the time. The speed limit on I80 is 80 mph and the speedo in my truck only goes to 85.

What I love about these videos is that I can find out more about older cars and search for the exact ones that most of the time are so cheap , specifications , extras and more , its just so awesome to learn about forgotten or really appreciated cars from different eras , just awesome !

That stretch of I-80 from west of SLC to Wendover across the salt is amazing. 60 miles without a single change in elevation or curve of any kind. I’ve driven it at least a dozen times, but never had the guts to do it flat out.

That was awesome. Ficarra caught me off-guard with the emotions towards the end but I definitely 'get it'. I am almost obsessed with this entire Cannonball cross country race/setting the record thing and have been since first seeing the movie 'Gumball Rally' as a kid in the 1970s (I've only done the trip once New Jersey to Los Angeles in 1992) so I can sort of relate.

Course I’m sure there’s not too many people that watch this is not a car person But to those that did and don’t quite understand the emotion that he showed this is called camaraderie and brotherhood This is what you get and what you feel when you experience failure and then you succeed those times when the skater lands a trick that he’s been trying for so long and everyone around him is more or as happy as he is that’s what this is and you have to be able to handle failure and keep pushing to experience the awesome feeling of an accomplishment like this. I feel sorry for people who are too scared to try something because they’re afraid of failing.

I have done the drive from Salt Lake to Wendover so many times, in many different cars. I can't imagine having done it with such an amazing group of people, but it is a very special stretch of road.
