I knew him from Oz before SVU was a thing. Chris Keller was a madman, as have several of his other characters been. Credit to Meloni, he’s always up to go all the way.
In my early 20s, when I visited my grandma (RIP) in NY, we'd go bar hopping together and she was the perfect wingman because guys would think that was so cool. She was better company than most and I wish I could drink with her now that I'm old (40,ha)
He's completely amazing. SVU would have some plot where NYPD is busting a bunch of 9 yr olds out of an international sx dungeon, Stabler is John Wicking his way through Luxembourg for whatever reason, and the entire guest cast are being made to do cringey accents; Meanwhile there's Christopher Meloni, this absolute professional, like "what do you mean L&O scripts are getting stupider, all my lines sound great? Siddown, I'm gonna nail these sick bastards to a wall". He's so underrated.
