Oh please, how can there be a god we something like this happen to a good person ?? Either is god not that perfect and powerful as he claims to be or he does not exist at all!
god? there is no god. you are grateful to yourself and science, you fool. Religion is the worst bullshit on the planet. You must be survival of the fittest it has nothing to do with any fake god.
At 36 years of age, I watch this with tears in my eyes, I grew up like many seeing this amazing man playing Superman on screen. I never see Christopher Reeve on screen I see Superman... I cried when he had his accident and I cried when he died. What he went through, showed what a true SUPERMAN he really was, which is why he will always be Superman to me, and when I feel like giving up. I just look and remember Chris.
@RoxanneDrew But for me its more what he gave in research to people with the same injuries he's given potentially at least the possibility of people walking again, after this which he put down to his exercises he'd do he could sense hot and cold again as well as moving his fingers I believe at least. He's quite literally incredible!
I feel that Christopher sent a powerful message to those that would listen. He completely put himself out there to show that even a Super Hero needs a super hero to help during difficult times. Robin Williams was Christopher Reeve's super hero. Sadly, Robin Williams didn't have one during his time of need.😢
Here is a real life hero. Did more on that wheelchair than when he played Superman who wasnt real. Made every minute he spent on that chair all worth it.
Christopher was such a powerful, inspirational figure to me, and his legacy lives on. I truly believe that if he were alive today, he would be walking. I hope that wherever he and Dana are - they take comfort in knowing that his accident was instrumental in bringing awareness to spinal cord research, and that because of them, others have had the opportunity to walk again.
Someone claims to have been granted a visit to heaven. They said they saw Chris there. He made it. And they said he was in charge of teaching people there how to fly...like Superman. Yup. Flying lessons!
Thanks for uploading. His book had me in tears. I lived in the same town as him for a year it was very expensive in Bedford ny so I moved. Imagine being 6 '4 200 lbs & all that weight landing on ur head. He suffered his whole life from alopecia when u lose patches of hair , stress can cause it. It's no wonder he lost his hair. So stressful. He did so much to get ready to walk again , like having his legs move on an exercise bike to prevent atrophy. I really hoped he would walk again. I also dont think his mom as a bad person she just did not want her son to suffer. Plus they spoke about it. He is such an inspiration bc the what if's would drive anyone crazy.
When the body get i falling, the survive instinct reflex quick use the arms to protect it of hurting. It acts in high speed letting the mind behind. It strange why it didnt happen to amortece the fall and protect his head. Arms break but not a organ of survive.
@@Brancaalice He did talk about that. He said the mistake he made was trying to stay on the horse when he knew he was going to fall off. In doing so, his hands became tangled up in the reins and he couldn't use his arms to break the fall. He knew that had his hands been free, all that he would have had was a broken wrist.
Superman Christopher Reeve and wife Superwoman Mrs Reeve ,continue to rest in the bossom of the Lord Almighty. You two had a true heavenly Love for each other.
Yes, he died a long time ago. He lived about nine years like that. The thing that happens is that people in this condition have a lot of complications. He suffered from numerous respiratory infections because of his breathing tube, and also had skin infections from lesions caused by not being able to move and change position. The human body was not meant to be completely immobile for long periods of time, and as his type of spinal injury was the most severe, his immobility was near complete (he could only move his head). Therefore, he suffered many complications during the nine years he lived and in the end , his heart stopped again and the couldn't resuscitate that time, so he passed away.
It’s a privilege to experience unconditional love. The lessons that adversity teaches you if you overcome them can be far more valuable than many physical things people posses. Some people might be physically handicapped, but their spirit is far from that. 🤍💖
