Chromatic Aberration is the phenomenon in which the edge of convex lens acts as a prism and splits white light into seven colors. This results in annoying colors in the image. To solve the problem of chromatic aberration the objective lenses are corrected. These corrected objectives can be either achromatic objective or apochromatic objective.
