I had not heard of StyphonTV before seeing this level, but I'll definitely keep an eye out for their works from now on. This level has some really good background effects in pretty much every part, with my favorite being the one at 0:50 thanks to the effects. The way they get more intense as the song builds up works really well, especially combined with the gameplay changing direction and going up. While the background effects are the highlight for me, the foreground is definitely not bad either. The block designs, saws, and other decorations fit nicely on top. I particularly like the consistent usage of pixel objects, such as for the spikes; this ties every part subtly together in the foreground, in addition to the aforementioned focus on background effects.
The gameplay of the level is quite good in my opinion. I found it pretty easy to read despite the intense background effects, which goes to show that StyphonTV did a good job separating the foreground from these. The only part that was a bit tricky to read at first was 0:50, but this is mostly because of its scale with a lot going on. With some practice, it plays well and does its job building up to the climax to great effect. There are some sound effects at 1:44 that I found a bit too loud personally, but this highly depends on your volume levels for music and SFX. Personally, I have both level which I assume is the norm. This is a minor nitpick, though, and doesn't affect the experience much. All in all, I think this deserves an Epic Easy Demon rating!
