@@hiraidiamond5933 to play devils advocate, gate keeper isnt really random, in fact, hes the most frequent appearing npc in the game, hes there from start to finish for all routes never leaving his spot. Not random, random being loved so much maybe, but hes the *least* random NPC in all of 3 houses
All these memes are slowly turning the gatekeeper into some sort of malevolent God who destroys everything you love with a mocking "nothing to report."
Imagine if we got to CYL reveal and Gatekeeper is revealed and you just hear "ANYTHING CAN CHANGE" and he takes off his helmet to reveal Chrom, and that IS bamboozled us.
Oh no, chrom didnt get a 6th alt and marth's 5th alt doesn't get a skill, and they have to deal with losing to an npc with more personality than the two of them combined
Okay dude Have you *ever* played a Fire Emblem game? Marth and Chrom are oozing with Personality. Byleth is not representative of the entire series's main protags.
@@arzfan29 Ah yes, the asexual simps. Here's the thing: If you *have* played them, you certainly didn't pay attention. Replay Shadow Dragon DS, look at Marth's dialogue. Read Chrom's supports in Awakening. They have plenty of character.
And nothing of value was lost that day. Seriously, why would you want a 5th Chrom alt in general? At least Gatekeeper is a much more interesting character to put in the game, it certainly adds more. I'd rather have 1 more interesting character than a 5th version of someone, anyone really. Even having Marth is less interesting. In the women divisione at least we have Marianne
