Cirrhosis is a complication of liver disease which involves loss of liver cells and irreversible damaging of the liver. Alcohol and viral hepatitis B and C are common causes of cirrhosis and diagnosis of cirrhosis can be suggested by history, physical examination and blood tests, and can be confirmed by liver biopsy.

My doctors don’t know what is causing my cirrhosis. And I can’t get a transplant because of my multiple issue. On the good side, I have died a couple times before, and it was awesome, so I’m not afraid anymore. I’m in my fifties so I’m good

Dr sahib, my liver fibroscan stiffness is 73.9 all other blood tests like CBC, LFT, GGT, kFT, Hepatitis B, C are normal U/S shows grade1/2 fatty liver on full body skin dryness is this liver cirrhosis ? If yes what others test required for confirmed
