My elderly mother has been in and out of the emergency room for years (10-15) with chronic UTIs, so much so that she has become antibiotic resistant. Then, some years into this pattern, she divulged that my father had been infected with e-coli, and omg did the alarm bells go off for me. I urged her to have the doctors test her for e-coli and culture it to determine the strain and suggested that perhaps he had infected her with it, through no fault or knowledge of his own. I dont know if she heeded my suggestion, but I do know she was back in the ER with another painful UTI within the year, and the doctors were trying to figure out what course of antibiotics to put her on. This option was of course, destroying her gut microbiome, as they had been doing for years. I also suggested she get tested for common strains of superbugs found in chicken and to cease eating it, which she dismissed even after I sent her the studies. There's only so much you can do to help people who refuse to listen or take you/the information given seriously. Thanks for the upload, guys. This is a factor I think most women and men would never think to consider.

Hi there, my beautiful Mum ended up losing her life due to a UTI, she was in aged care and one day out of nowhere she got a uti and this made her hallucinate because of her age and that was the decline of her from that on. It’s really hard isn’t it trying to get the older generation to listen to you and what you are trying to do to help them. ❤

Wow just wow. Just recently l ended up with a UTI after sex with my husband. I thought it was because l didn’t go to pee straight after intercourse. Then when l got one again the next time l thought hmmm something isn’t right here, so l was thinking maybe it was from hubby, but l just wasn’t sure as l has never heard of this before. Then this video comes along to support what l was thinking that it is the sperm from ejaculation causing the UTI. I now make sure he has a condom on as l, am terrified of getting another one. Now l need to think of a way to bring up the subject to him to let him know that he is the one that is causing me to get these every time. Thanks to both Drs for doing a video on this.❤

My wife and I (of 20 years) had/have this issue….although we found studies years ago where they said some women can have allergies to some mens sperm….about 30%. Not sure how true that is
