The sound effect at 3:02 to 3:03 is the same sound effect that the destroyer in the first Thor movie made when it fired an energy blast! I heard it watching the show and thought "that sounded so familiar" but I couldn't quite place it, then it just hit me. Maybe the asgaardian destroyer is based on chronicom technology?
I suspect that 3:06 is a shot from the _Winter Soldier_ production, maybe an unused shot or they borrowed the physics simulation and added the explosions
This VFX was reused from the material created for episode 4x15, in which they were undoubtedly based on some material from the movie, however the work was mainly done by the VFX team of the series, since in that season they shown many more angles and settings in and out the Triskelion.
One of the VFX guys from the show mentioned the process involved borrowing the Triskelion model and scaling it down first (because movies tend to use large scale 3d scenes) and the rest was done by the VFX team for the show
Kevin Feige had to approve everything they used in Agents of SHIELD. They even approved the use of the Quantum Realm and provided them with the CGI for it. I remember they wanted to use MODOK, in Season 4, but Kevin said no because he wanted to get around to using him. So, they just had the Russian guy's head in a Jar haha. A lot of it wasn't allowed to affect the movies, so as not to be confusing for audiences, trying to follow the main MCU stories.

Hmmm wasn’t the Triskelion 1st introduced in aos? Ik they entered the building and we saw the lobby with the big eagle but can’t remember if that’s before Winter Soldier or not. Ik they at least mention it before the movies
The Snap happened moments after the final scene of season 5, but nothing was ever said about it, because season 6 take place 1 year later. The showrunners said there is 20 minutes of deleted footage, including an explanation about the Snap. They said it would be revealed with the release of season 7 on Disney+. Although of course, we still don't know if that material should be considered canon or not.
@@1993digifan Deleted scenes are considered non-canon unless they don't contradict the canon. These scenes probably do contradict it, so only the explanations from the creators of the show would help, but that also gets complicated considering that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ended and Marvel TV was shut down.
Is AoS even considered MCU canon at this point? Not that it matters for the quality of the show, I love that they stopped plugging MCU movies and just decided to do their own thing, even though the movies after Winter Soldier pretend SHIELD doesn't exist anymore
