Thanks man! Thats was my goal. I have the full 80's outfit I wear when I drive this car too 😆 🤣 could easily use cd or aux.. but like the cassette feel
88 San Marino Q non shp here...on SQ club as well. Your steering looks very tight/correct in this video and I wonder what you have done on that end of things? What type of bushings etc... I'm about to finally do the D2 thing and while I know there are a few different 4 pot calipers that can be fab'd to fit that front spindle I'm curious what general consensus is nowadays...stock front (no change of rack/etc...) What is the best caliper upgrade that can be done on that stock setup with an aftermarket coilover?
Yep still on the original 2.6T with a new head. If you get one.. focus on rust! All of the same crap goes wrong on every one of these seems.. regardless of how well kept they are.. but rust varies
Waay back in 1989 when I used to work at an auto parts store, I had a manual 1988 Fiero GT and my co-worker had a black Starion Turbo with the manual transmission. It looked badass.
@@delpsdayoff3372 Oh nice! Yeah my Fiero had the 5 speed Getrag. Very sensitive old school tranny. I had it from 1989 to like 1997. I used to work far for several years and used to always be driving far on the weekends (back when I was younger), so when I sold it in 1997, I had racked up like 130K miles on it. I serviced the Fiero myself and it was reliable. I almost landed another one last year, but the deal didn't go through. But now I have a 2004 Acura RSX Type S that I do love. That's a nice Conquest you got there. Take care of that gem. Looks nice.
Full muffler delete then quiet/free flow magnaflow put in place of the suitcase. It's a "modified" stock sound.. I have a vid of the exhaust on my channel. Thx for watching.. more to come.
