Join Me & my fishing pal Dave back out River fishing on the Glorious
June 16th on a beautiful Summers morning.
With Low Clear conditions & bright Sunshine the fishing wasn't easy but we did managed some nice Chub & a stunning Brownie...
It was great to be back fishing with Dave again & he is still as keen as ever to bank a few River fish & in typical fashion he bagged the biggest Chub!
Hope your getting out & catching a few early season fish folks....

@@yorkshireriverrover7199 Yeh. I just go and do a bit of trotting with stick and pin type tactics for whatever in the first week or so. A 5-6lb barbel did put in an appearance though. Fun on a 3lb hook length.

Nice one mate. Good to see you the other day, sorry I couldn’t hang about for a proper chat. Had to get home asap! I went back Saturday morning for 2 hours and had a nice barbel of 7lb. Looking forward to a good season and more content, keep it coming 👍🏻

Was good to bump onto you again pal 👍, congrats on your Barbel too, always difficult to catch one from here.... yeah will be getting many more sessions in with more vids to follow 😊. I'm on holiday in Whitby at the moment... tried spinning on the Esk this morning for a quick hour with no joy... beautiful River tho 😀, all the best pal 👍🎣

Well done Pete another good video some good fish caught by you and dave. Not been down yet as you know been on trent. Usually leave it a bit. Keep the videos coming. Nice tactics with the bread. I've heard about the otters thought I'd seen one

Cheers Steve pal, yeah I've heard other anglers mention an otter downstream of the footbridge..... The Chub simply can't resist a big piece of flake can they 😮... Good to see you out n catching some quality Barbel mate 👍👍, all the best pal 🎣

Hot day that was pal. Nice to try a fresh stretch. That trout was a minter pal. But nothing compares to the fight that minnow gave me hahaha

@@keithstandrin9861 hi pal, thanks for watching, this is the River Dearne at Harlington South Yorkshire, really good shallow fast stretch with gravel bottom, loads of Chub n Dace & a few Barbel about too, it's free fishing so definitely worth a visit pal 👍🎣

@@keithstandrin9861 yeah behind Morrisons super market is good down stream... also OK at Eaton village bridge if the fish are there... the farmer has stop access the the bank now tho which was a shame as it was amazing for big Roach & Perch 😔... Hallcroft lakes has a section of the Idle too which is good. Worms n Pellets n meat work well for the better fish... tight lines pal n enjoy your retirement 👍🎣
