I’m 51 years old. The newer generation would not know what “Chucks” use to look like. This was a slow transformation, especially since Nike bought Converse. I’ve been wearing them for many years. I just bought the black pair your showing. Great video Kaitlin.
The 70's Chucks definetly remind of the ones I grew with. I have a pair of black hitops, they have heavier canvas and thicker rubber sole. You feet feel really feel "strapped in to them"
Aww you are adorbs! just like you, my Chucks squash my toes so i rarely wear them but I'm gonna give these 70s a try. BTW, how are the insoles? cushion?
You are the BEST! ❤️ Love the video. I just bought a pair of the Chuck 70’s in black tonight, online of course. Can’t wait to get them. I’m nostalgic about them too. The 70’s were the BEST decade, full stop.
Great comparison vid! :) I am 53 and just bought several pair of converse. Idk if they are 70's version or not, tho. I don't think so. But I am SO glad to see other ladies of my age bracket wearing converse shoes, too! :) Oh, and Please make some outfit vids with them! :) PS: feet with wider, more square toes are known as Egyptian feet. I have them, as well!
I heard that women should size down because they run a little big. Would you agree with that? I'm an eu size 36 and don't know what size to get... Great video!
I dunno, early 50’s, I think you’re gen x! For the boomers, their slow dancing has steps. Ours don’t! The Chucks non-70s got me into Vans, but these might get me back to Chucks! Thanks for the review, gen x!
Hi. I am size 6 in classic/regular and I got a size 6 in the 70s but it feels narrow on the wide part of my foot. Should I have gotten a 6.5 if it is in the 70s?
