Yes good call..but i will never forgive them for the way it ended ..i watched every fkn ep...& that ending fkd it all up 4me..its ment that all there chemistry & all build up from pilot till finalie was 4 nothing ..extremley pissed fan
This is one of those shows that’ll never get old, despite knowing how it all turns out. At least we have this satisfying alternate ending to turn to each time!
It’s 2020, and I just finished the series once again, and I wish I can erase my memory and watch it all over again! Such an amazing show, i need a movie, or a season 6. I wanna see chuck and Sarah buy their dream home and make the family they’ve wanted. I wanna see Casey marry Gertrude, and Morgan marry alex! We need a 2020 Chuck Ending! Edit: Thank you for the likes! it’s 2021 now, & I STILL WANT SOMETHING NEW DAMMIT Edit: its 2022 and i’m about to rewatch the show, hopefully i don’t remember too much🙂 Edit: it’s 2023 and i’m rewatching 🤣 Edit: it’s 2024 and I’m definitely not rewatching it again😏
I hope they give us a follow up now especially with these sad times! A happy ending with inspirational reunion of these characters would be wonderful and a real gift to millions of fans who just watched this for the first time ... like me! PLEASE!
i just started the series in the middle of quarantine and am in love w the show...i cannot even imagine finishing it, it has been an incredible journey so far and i am only on season 2, cannot wait for what is to come :)
I just finished watching it on Amazon prime. Never would have seen this ending video if not for youtube suggestions.. This particular ending video is not official, but its the one that gives me peace.
You guys are missing the point. This was the perfect ending, and I'll tell you why. The fact that Sarah said "kiss me" proves that it doesn't matter whether or not she remembers. She WANTS to remember. If she doesn't remember, then she gets to fall in love with him all over again (and the fact that she wants him to kiss her means that she is already mostly there). It's beautiful because she gets a chance to experience it all over again, and he gets to have what he always wanted: a relationship minus all the spy stuff, lies, deception, covers, and games. If she does remember, then you guys get your precious storybook ending and it's all good. This is fine by me, but I almost want her not to remember because they will be together no matter what, and few people get the chance to fall in love with their best friend twice.
overratedperception I totally agree, she wanted to know, she wanted to remember and that's what matters. I can't think of better ending than this. She wants to try and that's the happy ending for me, sad would it be, if they had showed them go their separate ways. But she trusts him and that is why she asks him to kiss her. It is a win win!
I completely agree with everything you said, I felt exactly the same way. They have a chance to have a fresh start without any complications (love triangles, spy missions, near death experiences etc) It's a chance to do the relationship right and proper this time. I was happy with the ending
I agree not to mention that Sarah was already starting to remember some things, who knows with time it might have all come back. She has video proof that she fell for him, she trusts him, and he just told her their story, she asked him to kiss her etc so it all leads to them staying together and a happy ending. Honestly, her actually having a flash remembering everything doesn't really add as much as people are making out to be.
OH MY GOD. I've always hated this ending and you just totally opened my eyes to what it truly is. Thank you, person with the username overrated perception. This show means more to me than any other and I can't believe I missed this. I could say thank you a thousand times and mean it each and every one. Wow. I'd say we should get a drink sometime, but it's the internet. This made my day which was going pretty bad. I could cry. Thank you.
that is the ending everybody wanted, actually from watching that i think i can finally say good bye to the one series that is better than Game of thrones... Goodbye Chuck
+Robin Scorpio Yes, the first 3 seasons. I don´t feel empathy with the charakters, because every charakter is replacebale and (in my view) everybody is an asshole (exept tyrion). Furthermore the sex scenes are so boring and trivial...
I know it's been said before but yvonne's nonverbal acting is really what gave Chuck the spark that it had. She was able to give the series that little something extra that allowed it to be a perfect blend of action/comedy/romance in each 45 min episode. Outstanding achievement.
I agree her Romantic looks are crazy good. especially first two seasons when thats all they ever do cause there not together. I know People view this as a fun show but its, in my opinion, the best romance I have watched.
When you look back on the whole series, you realise it was as much Sarah's story as Chuck's (perhaps even more in some ways). I don't think it was intended to be that way in the beginning, it just sort of happened... and I'm pretty sure her acting had a lot. to do with that. I would like to see a revival/reunion... but only if we find out she got her memories back pretty quickly (I don't want her getting them back 10 years later - she has to get them back on that beach... or at least most of them).
Unfortunately, Chuck never seemed to pick up on any of this. He seemed to always more concentrated on what he said to him than how she said it. Just the way she asked to him to tell her "our story". He missed that she was finally telling him she remembered her feelings, just by how she said it. He may just have figured it out though, when she asks him to kiss her.
Completely agree, her facial expressions stole the show every episode. So talented. I don't think people realize how good she is at it. She could speak an entire paragraph without saying a word.
It's 2024, and I've just finished another binge-watch of my all-time favorite show. I've seen countless TV shows in my life, but none have ever touched me like this one. The concept, the plot, the characters, the consistently high quality for five seasons - it's just incredible. Even though I know the ending by heart, I still get emotional every time I watch it, even after more than a decade. I hope they make a spin-off movie with the original cast someday. Thank you, Zachary, and thank you to everyone involved. You've filled so many of my afternoons and evenings, you've been fantastic.
Remember in Chuck vs the Role Models, the Turners wished Chuck and Sarah “many happy marriages.” That episode always stuck with me. The idea that Chuck and Sarah would encounter something that would test their love, their union. And yet they would still find their way back to each other.
If it must end, this is the ending I choose. However, I won't allow it to end. I will watch the entire show, every episode, over and over until I know everyone's lines by memory. What an AWESOME television show...the best EVER!
I know Chuck was supposed to be an interpretive ending but after rewatching and the initial time 10 years I am confident that of course Sarah recalls their love story in its entirety. Moreover, Yvonne is so underrated as an actor it's baffling to me that she is not plastered on multiple TV series and movies. The depth that she adds to her characters is phenomenal. I'm really putting out to the universe that S6 or Chuck Vs. The Movie happens after she wraps TheHandmaid's Tale! ❤
The single best television show to ever exist. There will never be another. The chemistry between Zach & Yvonne was unmatched. Their ability to give even most subtle glance so much emotion & love is a testament to their abilities bc you couldn’t tell me Chuck & Sarah weren’t real. At the core this was a show about friendship & true love & as long as you believe in the love between Chuck & Sarah you know that it’s absolutely impossible for them to exist in life without each other.
One of the things that is so amazing about Yvonne (aside from the obvious) is her very subtle but powerful reactions; when Chuck is kidnapped and she sniffs his shirt and starts to weep, when Sarah sees her mom for this first time in 5 years and her eyes widen ever so slightly. I think best of all, is the look on her face and in her eyes in the clip above when Chuck says Morgan "has this crazy idea". It's these things that make Sarah so believable. I think Zach did a great job as Chuck (I actually just read an article that they almost cast Chris Pratt as Chuck, and I was personally offended they could think of anyone else other than Zach), but quite honestly, I don't think Zach is really "acting", I think that's how Zach is in real-life. Having said that, Chuck is far and away the absolute best show I have ever seen in my almost 50 years on this planet.
You should watch Zach's Instagrams and all the comic con platforms he does! He is the Embassador for amazing charities, like Covenant House, active Minds for mental health, smile, for the children. He is one of the most kind, compassionate loving, empathetic, humble, people I have ever heard speak!
Rewatched this show after 10 years and i cant help but to cry! Just finished it actually. Still my favorite. There may be a lot of new & more popular shows out there but nothing could ever replace Chuck as the best show for me. There may be a reboot or anything of this show 10 or 20 years from now but this Chuck would still remain the best. Zachary Levi & Yvonne Starhovski's chemistry was top-tier! Chuck & Sarah would never be as good as this if not for them. Best plot, best cast, best chemistry 👉 CHUCK. Irreplaceable.
I don’t ever get involved in comment sections of anything but I loved this show and the characters too much to not say something. This is basically the ending that I pictured happening and this is the ending that should have happened. And I’ll tell you why... and it’s not complaining... it just makes sense... I completely understand how ending every show/movie with a story book happy ending can be annoying because it gets predictable which makes it boring. BUT... it was the RIGHT ending for THIS show... for Chuck and Sarah. This show was never about portraying a realistic spy life or taking artistic liberties portraying very dark moments or ambiguous unhappy endings. It was always a cheesy, comedic, LOVE story... in the best way possible. That is what the show was. And was completely lovable for exactly what it was. The action scenes were completely unrealistic... even borderline ridiculous... and every situation/mission always had a “cliche” happy ending... evening if it took a couple episodes. But it didn’t matter that we always got the “cliche” happy ending because the relationships between all the characters were what was truly at the heart of the show/story. To completely change the character of the show at the very end just didn’t make sense for the itself or Chuck and Sarah. To watch THIS love story for 5 years and have it end so open ended like that... to not have confirmation that she remembered... just kind of... sucked... plain and simple. This version of the ending is not just a happy ending for the sake of a happy ending but it actually fits the character of the show itself and the cliche happy ending pattern that they followed throughout the entire show (aside from his father dying but I’m convinced that he would have shown up again if the show had continued). And everyone who loved the show obviously loved it with the cliche happy endings and all. And how fitting would have been for it to start with him flashing and end with her flashing. And too everyone that says it doesn’t matter if she remembered or not because she gets to fall in love with him again... that’s not how it works... it absolutely matters... because he and everyone else around her would be on a totally different level than her which would realistically and most likely create a very uncomfortable environment for her that would probably just push her away. No one wants to be told how they should live their life or hear that someone else knows what’s best for them (like who they should love)... even if it’s yourself on camera. She would probably want to figure that out for herself which means she would most likely just want to start over and create her own life and memories which would likely mean creating her own path away from everyone that is telling her who she use to be. Plus... if you’ve ever been in love... you know that the most precious thing that you can share with someone are the memories you make together. Our experiences are part of the make up of who we are and our relationships... She simply would never be the same person without the last five years of experiences... their relationship will never be the same without the 5 years of memories. I agree with others that, as much as I miss the show and wish that there was more Chuck(and Sarah), given what we got with season 5... I wish it would have stopped after season 4. It would have been a more satisfying ending. Season 5 was just a little off from beginning to end. All is not lost though... This version would actually be the perfect opening scene of a new season or movie. And maybe that was what they had planned to do and just didn’t get another season to do it. One can only hope... #Chuck #MoreChuckPlease #ChuckRevival #ChuckMovie(s) #ChuckandSarah4ever #SarahRemembered #SheHadToHaveRemembered #PleaseTellMeSheRemembered #SarahsLastFlash #ComeOnNBC
Exactly how I feel. This was a feel good show, and warranted a cheesy happy ending. Not some drama that leaves us with ambiguity.. I watched Chuck for the first time this December and was shocked by the last 3 episodes, they felt really off. Any rewatches I do will probably end with their wedding. That's a much better ending. Wish I was warned not to watch season 5 and end with season 4
that's a nice, and obvious, point of view (which ive never thought about). the series had a good ending, but it could be great if it followed the recurring cliche we all love and the reason we watched the series. to feel good and have a good time at the end of the day. and about THIS ending being a good opening for a new season or movie, man you gave me hope.
Thissssss is exactly it right here omg. Someone has FINALLY articulated why it’s so heartbreaking when people justify the original ending with “even if she doesn’t remember they’ll make new memories together!” NOOOOO. That does NOT do it for me. If that’s how it plays out, then literally what was the point of us spending countless hours of our time following the incredible love story we got on screen? With ALL of its tiny details? Chuck and Sarah were far and away the most satisfying TV pair to watch finally commit to each other after several seasons of “will they or won’t they.” And then that still wasn’t even the best part; everything that they got to do together as a couple, surrounded by their strong community (which, as you mentioned, would ABSOLUTELY not feel the same as what it had grown into over the past 5 years, and any couple needs a strong loving community supporting them in order for their personal romantic love to thrive, IMHO), was AWESOME!! Even just insinuating that she’s forgotten all of that but we should all be fine with it because “they’ll make new memories,” makes me so angry. This is much more the ending us fans deserved, and we do still need a revival or movie 😭 thank you for putting my exact and apparently unpopular thoughts into words perfectly!!
To be fair though, it’s not that her memories were blank . She remembers stuff throughout the last episode. She feels it , she goes to the beach because she knows it’s important for them . I want to believe her memories comes back , atleast all the important ones . And that’s the road the last episode takes
When Chuck says "Trust me Sarah," it is foreshadowing that everything was going to work out and that Sarah would get her memory back at some point. If you watched the whole series that is how it always played out. It is the same thing she said to him in the first episode, and he did trust her, and she ended up being trustworthy even though they kept us guessing for like half the first season as to whether Sarah and even much longer whether Casey was good or bad. The writers were genius at pulling on our heartstrings with Chuck and Sarah, and making us second guess our intuitions about pretty much every character at some point on the show. This was the masterful punctuation to the end of a deeply psychological and often overtly philosophical, emotional, thought provoking, and hilarious show. I'm sure that the actors were sad that the show was ending. Therefore the emotion in this scene was genuine in real life and made for a very powerful, and for some maybe too real of a scene for the ending. I get that. It's very sad. Just remember, it is sometimes in our darkest hours that we realize what is so important and what there is to lose. Sometimes it is important to take a leap of faith. And in the end that is what Sarah did. So we are to infer that the kiss did open up her memory. Also I noted the fact that she goes to the beach where it all began, and that she subconsciously knew that it was somehow significant leads us to infer that her memories were still somewhere deep in her head. I mean would they make Morgan be wrong in the last scene??? No. I think he would be the idiot genius that he was, and that we would be left loving him for suggesting such a ridiculous thing. The show almost always left us wanting more, and that is why this is actually the perfect ending. That is what I got out of it.
look for the chuck versus phase 3 episode when sarah kisses chuck, the scientist says he's almost completely gone, in his head every memory was fading away but with that kiss he woke up and everything was back to normal. Surely if the show wasn't really based on reality then that must've worked for sarah as as well either way i'm happy with the ending
First, I LOVE this show, so don’t hate me, but the writers definitely didn’t preplan much apart from one season at a time. I just watched the entire series twice because I had noticed a couple inconsistencies the first watch.... the second time, I found dozens. It isn’t obvious watching it slowly over 5 years, but with binging, it’s kinda obvious. I do agree that it was still an amazing show that you can’t help but love regardless. Funny, smart writing, and enough action to keep me entertained (since I’m one if those females who would prefer action it rom-com).
Can someone PLEASE send this to the writers/producers to show them what closure looks like! Just so you know, this ending is what I am going to pretend really happened from now on. Thanks!
Just finished chuck for the 1st time… the ending nearly broke my heart! I fell in love with these characters all I was hoping was for a happy ending. PLEASE make a Chuck a comeback!!
I just finished the series last night. And oh man, did I need this. I can't believe how emotionally attached I am to the characters in this show! I just can't stop thinking about them! This has helped tremendously.. it is the ending I wanted.
People don't understand that the actual ending is a happy ending. Sarah and Chucks original relationship was started on a lie. The feelings were real but there was a lot of baggage. Now Sarah has an opportunity to fall in love all over again, without this being her job. And the moment they kiss is when she falls for him again.
Your text is true but, we disappointed due to they souveniers are gonne. They shared a lot of things each other. Sarah do not remember anything about them.
The Infinite Draw So the fucking 5 seasons of the show developing their relationship were useless because it started “based on a lie”, let’s just delete them huh? We watched them falling for each other through 5 years for nothing, this is the worst ending ever
This is nice but I don't think the original ending was sad. It didn't matter if the kiss was magical or not. The moment she told him to kiss her meant she fell in love all over again. Aaaaaarghdjdisjdhdi I can't stop smiling!
OMG I have watched this ending, the best ending, and still get choked up every time. Guess I'll have to watch the entire series .....again. Love it, miss it. Best show ever.❤💔
As someone who found this series late through a family member, thank you! I binged for weeks slacking at work watching this series for the official ending which clearly was a half baked attempt at being deep and artistic rather than providing the closure needed after 5 seasons going from one extreme to the other in their relationship. This was therapy for my soul!
Exactly me, bingeing and slacking and all. I needed this! I only wish they would have included her at the end of the Thailand episode. She mentioned in a finale interview that it was hard for her to be so unemotional when everyone else got to convey some of their feelings about the series ending in their acting out the finale. I wanted to see more from her, like how she felt in Thailand.
Thank you for making this. I don't hated the last few episodes; it was such a depressing ending to such a lighthearted, fun story. I was just going to pretend the season ended with the wedding. You did a great job putting this together.
Agreed. Schwartz killed his previous series before Chuck by going too dark with it, youd think hed have learned his lesson. Thats why I choose to believe the kiss works.
This ending worked for me in more ways than I can describe, since it was so heartfelt. It makes sense that the very thing that sends Chuck into his journey, could spark the return of memories through a consensual kiss to the love of his life. The original ending was so heartbreaking it was nearly traumatic, since these two characters had done so much together, trusting each other time and again, only to lose it all as if it had never happened. Thank you for sharing this.
The important part to remember is that Sarah here wants her memories back and she wants to remember what she shared with Chuck. We have seen in season 3 that she was attracted to Chuck ever since she saw him help the little ballerina. It fits that this Sarah has also developed feelings for him. Also, she isn't as emotionally closed off as she had to be back in season 1. So, she hasn't been reset completely. She has the suppressed feelings of season 5 Sarah with the memories of Season 1 Sarah. So even if she doesn't remember everything in one instance, their relationship will survive and grow while she learns more about him and remembers more of her past in time.
I think the way they left it was perfect. Chuck and Sarah will fall in love again and the story woukd go on again, and Sarah can get her memory back by the government getting a pair of intersect Glasses and inputting memories into them.
I think I actually like the aired ending better. In the aired version, the point isn't her getting her memories back, it's her asking for Chuck to kiss her. I think it says that she loves him even without remembering their history. It reminds me a little of the ending of Angel. It doesn't matter HOW Team Angel survives, or even IF they survive. It matters that they won't stop fighting the good fight.
After watching Chuck for the 3rd time and having another little sob at the ending, I'm so glad I found this alt version. I just wish the writers had thought their ending through better.
I like to belive that Sarah remembers everything befor the kiss, that everything gets back to her while Chuck tells her their story, and every picture of their past is kind of her remembering everything they've been through. :3
well the only thing we can do its watch it and watch it over again, I watched the 4 seasons because I didnt want to end it, cause I thought it would be horrible, I always hate to end series, and finally this weekend I had the guts to do it and so I did, watched the entire season in less than 24h, I dont regret, its just the cherry on the cake
2022, I just finished up the last episode. The imaginary friendship I have built with the characters after watching over a period of time is a difficult book to close. Amazing show!
Such a sad ending. I personally did not like the ending but not cause it wasn't good I personally think that it was a bold move to leave it like that. Sometimes happy endings aren't always there I only wanted another ending because I was so involved in their relationship that I felt literal pain at them not being together. The ending was good just not what people were looking for the wanted the happy everyone wins ending including myself. But this.... This ending brought me to tears well done!!!
Last night, we watched the last 2 episodes with our teen daughter who watched the series for the first time. She loved the show and was confused/disappointed by the ending. I was prepared for this and she was much happier after I showed her the fan-fiction "alternate ending". She gave a big sigh of relief after seeing your video. Thank you Peter Khavann!
Could one tv series, one!, Brag on having so deep an impact on its viewers. I doubt so very much. Chuck was a comet in the sky of tv series and won't be repeated. Yvonne and Zach did something that has no equal and won't have any time soon. Hope one day Chuck and its actors and actresses get all the praise they truly deserve. Yvonne , you are the sun in Chuck. Zach, you are the soul of the series. Chuck has changed my life forever. You will be dearly missed.
2023 and wishing for more Chuck and Sarah. Never has a tv show or movie hit me so hard and make me tear up or outright cry so darn often. This show has so many amazing qualities that feel lost not just in todays media, but life in general. Love, fun, humor, adventure, loyalty and friendship. As i watch their story and the many ups and downs, it gives me hope that there may be someone out there for me, for all of us, regardless of our flaws, they will love you. Great video, perfect ending. I thank you.
Me too... :,( I just read something about a Chuck Movie being green-lit for 2015. It was on the official Facebook page. Go to thechuckmovie.com/ and read it for yourself. The post went up January 3rd and is currently the first post you get to on the page. Let's just hope it's true.
I just finished this jewel of a show(for the first time) in this insane year of 2020. I enjoyed both endings. Thanks for this alternate ending it touched the heart strings.
I have always accepted the original ending although I was somewhat disappointed by it. I figured they did not have enough time for anything else considering how the last three episodes were written. However, if they had an alternative, this is it. Thanks for the massive editing job I am sure that this took to pull off.
AcuraT I was disappointed with how it ended, but I never understood all the outrage. It was still shown that Sarah was remembering everything over time, so even though the kiss didn't magically fix everything, as long as she chose to stick around things would eventually be back to normal.
Agreed, never understood the outrage. Also nice - in real life - both actors are friends although Levy is a geek who probably will stick with TV while Yvonne has a movie and TV career.
Zack Levy was the voice of Flynn in "Tangled" and had a small scene in Thor 2. That is true. However, the vast majority of what he has done is TV - and Heroes is TV again. Yvonne is going back and forth more it seems. Chuck coming back is a long shot at best, as Yvonne is continuously employed in other shows now as well as movies. Zack is more available, but Adam Baldwin is pretty busy as well. Anything is possible but it is more than "Heroes Reborn" doing well, it is getting everyone back together again which is quite difficult.
Armodues Grimlock I suppose the only two issues I would have with the finale is, would she stick around? Afterall she was trying to leave every chance she got, nothing in her mind keeping her there. The other being would she get the memories back? I don't want to see 5 years of character development wasted, the best thing about Chuck was the way Yvonne and Zarachy played the characters. That being said, I have sort of forgiven it over time, but its taken a long long time, which it really shouldn't have. My thinking is that in time she would stay, regain her memories and they would be as strong as ever, would have liked to have seen it. If you think about it even if you lost your memories being told about the countless times someone saved your life and helped you in so many ways, you wouldn't just feel nothing. The creators have also said this is the route they would have gone. The most painful scene is the bullet train when she is desperately trying to get back to chuck and then we all know what happens, I can't watch that any more. Something else I missed first time is that Chuck seems to be able to get through to Sarah until Quinn chirps up. Its a nice idea, but I would have liked to see more signs of recovery to make that ending a bit more believable, you shouldn't have to study a TV episode to imply things. When it annoys the majority of the fan base, it can't really be called a success though.
Eh, more like "extended" because I like to think that the kiss worked, because on that episode in season 5 when Chuck was taken to Thailand and his memories were wiped, there was no possible way those memories should have returned, but Sarah kissed him and he remembered. That's basically what happened in the last episode. Also, the premise of the show is that Chuck had information implanted into his head (like memories), so from the point of view of the producers, it wouldn't make sense if Sarah didn't regain her memories because that undermines the show's plot, also going back to the Thailand episode. If it happened once it'll happen again, that was probably the main purpose of that episode anyway, to act as a fill in AND to provide logic for the finale.
I actually just recently finished re-watching the show. I don't know how this ended up on my suggested but I'm glad it did. This show was one of the single most amazing things to ever happen to me.
like me there are lots of people who watched Chuck in one month or less but there are lots of people who waited for every epidose patiently, too. I can handle this ending but i am so sorry about people watched it in 5 years... it is just like their child that they owned for five years... i feel really so sad :( i hope this video makes everyone's heart relieve ^^ thanks for making this video ~~
I watched the show when it aired, I have watched the show in a marathon in a week. I loved it as much as the first time, every time! This is one of the best stories ever told, from the spy stuff to the romance. The only people that think the original ending was bad are people that didn't truly watch the show. I think it was more of the fact that Chuck had to win Sarah's heart back before the memories would return. Which he did by giving up being able to fix her and doing the right thing and saving others. Its the key element the she fell in love with about Chuck, self sacrifice even at the cost of his own happiness.
I anxiously awaited every episode when it aired and power watched it twice since. The ending for me was very satisfying. Since Chuck had a kiss from Sarah work to get his memories back, most assume it worked both ways. To me, it didn't matter. You could tell by the story telling time before she asked for the kiss, it didn't matter to her either, she just wanted a kiss whether she remembered or not. They were meant to be...:)
Just finished my 6th rewatch of Chuck... Well, still cried like a bitch when Chuck takes Sarah to their dream home and on the beach scene. Watching this video afterwards always brings this big dumb smile on my face :D Thanks man !
I've seen this god only knows how many times but its still gets to me. Chuck is the perfect show and is the only show to ever get me to cry, thank you for making the best ending possible from the way they set everything up.
I absolutely love this show. Adore it. It’s so amazing. I’ve seen it a million times. I’ll watch it a million more times. I needed this. Idc how cheesy it is, I needed to see this so I can finally be at peace with it. It’s how I always imagined it. It’s how it should be
Started watching this with my husband last year (2023) when we first got married. It was our first show together ♡ Just finished it and it hit way too hard 😭 My husband was too sweet wiping away my tears ❤ thank you for an ending tying it with a bow.
Dude that was great! I loved your version! I am a fan of Chuck and always will be. It's my favorite show to date. It really sucks that it didn't continue. They just left us with a cliff hanger so I had to search up an alternate ending and I LOVE yours. Please keep up this good work!

Sorry for my VERY bad english i'am not english i'am french so from the over side avec the atlantic sea a lot of love FOR THE BEST TV SHOW ON HISTORY ====> CHUCK !
Ha yeah i loved that kick on lester, which was so unexpected, and i laughed my ass of as well. i was watching the comi con they have on here of most of the chuck actors, and I think Vic (lester) made some comment about he never got a action scene, but doesn't that kick qualify lol
This IS the way it should have ended, not the incredibly sad ending that was aired. I am really rooting for a Chuck movie in which everything will turn out great for everyone involved in Chuck the series
It wasn't a sad ending, it was a beautiful new beginning. I still don't why people think that was sad. A machine didn't give her back her memories, he just did. She got to she how much he loves her through HIS eyes, how can that be sad?
Great video, I'm literally going to edit this into this episode, and the next time I watch the series, it will end properly. Personally, I think it took a great deal for Sarah to get to the point that she fell in love with a guy like Chuck. I feel the loss of all those memories are too big a bridge for them, and isn't fair at all for these characters. So, the kiss giving Sarah her memories back would have ended the show properly. This new ending, is now the official ending as far as I'm concerned. :)
Wow! Totally impressed by this work! Bravo, Charles. I was taken aback when I first saw the finale... Like, That's IT?? But I have figured out how it goes down, in my nerdy brain. A friend of mine insists she doesn't get her memory back because she has to fall in love with the new man Chuck is. I see his point, but really, would the producers really just negate everything the characters spent five years going through? and poor Sarah, she really doesn't get to remember her own wedding day? We know there are still pieces of Sarah's memory intact (Wienerlicious, Irene Demova, Sarah + Chuck graffiti) and each of them is triggered by context. So here's my theory: as she falls in love with New Chuck, she gets pieces of her life with Old Chuck back... ie. when she kisses him on the beach, she'll remember their first kiss, when they get engaged (because in my nerdy world, they'll have to get married all over again), she'll remember him proposing the first time, etc. So she loves both versions of Chuck, everybody wins. No magic (per se). And that's my nerdy theory.
This is a great theory. I thought the same thing at the beginning of the series finale... she was starting to remember things in the order they originally happened, starting with 5 years ago. With some help from the friends and fam, through photos, videos, and revisiting some of the more important places, she would get her memory back. However, the gut-wrenching original ending ripped my damn heart out. I can't remember the last time I was this emotionally invested in a love story. The original ending was truly heartbreaking and has left me in tears since I finished it 10 hours ago. My husband probably thinks I've lost my mind. I don't blame him. So I appreciate this alternate ending also because it has lifted the heavy weight off my chest and dried up the tears. The closest to this feeling I remember having was... "I'm a leaf in the wind; watch how I soar." Iykyk. 😢
Wow, that's what you call Romance I don't know why they stopped making more seasons, I would be very happy if they were to bring back the franchise best series ever🤞
Whoever made this alternate ending is an angel.... who has given me a virtual relief from the heart-ache that the open ending gave me after binge watching all the 5 seasons back to back!!! Thank you...
I just finished watching Chuck for the first time by marathoning it on Netflix. I watched all 91 eps in about 6 weeks and just finished the finale 2 nights ago. I've never been more devastated by a show's finale. It was borderline sadistic and mean spirited what Fedak and Schwartz did by erasing the entire 5 years with no clear cut answer to IF the Kiss would work or IF she would get her memories back. I still can't believe they would give the fans the ending they did after all the fan support kept the show alive. It's going to be a while before I can watch the show again because it all feels for naught IF the 5 years of Sarah's memories are truly gone. Thank you so much for making this infinitely better ending that I will have to pretend is Canon to even be able to ever watch the show again...which hurts because I have LOVED this show. Your version here should have been the conclusion...but even still the direction of the final 2 hours was a darkly sadistic slap in the face to the fans who have invested so much in caring for the Chuck + Sarah relationship...sigh..I'm still distraught. This video does help however. Thank You
Of course the kiss didn't return Sarah's memories. There's no such thing as magic and the show has never been about that. To me the whole premise is that after hearing the story, Sarah decided that she wants to give her and Chuck another chance. Hence the "Kiss me" means they are getting back together. It's not the memories that made their relationship work, it's who they are as people. Yes, it is kind of a reset on their relationship, but also a fresh start and a chance to rediscover themselves, which most couples don't get to have. I get that you need to have a definitive answer about whether or not she got her memories back - I used to be like that. But if you can consider the above you'll find that the ending scene is actually pretty awesome, touching and pays homage to the show's history.
Then what about those awesome memories with Chuck huh? Her memories of her friendship with Casey? and all the things theyve been through?? Five years .. FIVE. Whatever people say i will never like the way this ended. Its just plain cruel
I agree and is a point lost to many. She didn't just lose the relationship memories...she lost all of her time and interactions with Casey, Morgan, The Awesomes, and yes even Jeff and Lester....everyone. She had some type of friendship or family ties with all those characters. It's just completely unforgivable what they did....oh and guess what... She doesn't remember her father saving that money in the piggy bank either for her wedding...ouch. I HATE what they did to her still.
I agree that this should have been the ending to go with. I am broken that she forgot everything. Although, this isn't the official ending and makes me sad again. What does cheer me up is the fact that they fell in love gain which isn't as bad as I imagined. Thank you for putting this together, this does show that the writers made a mistake in choosing the ending they chose.
I've watched every Chuck episode about 3 times over and feel that you've captured the heart, soul and finality of the Chuck series. I do understand why the powers that be created the ending they did. But I feel the creators owed it to the fans, and owed it to the characters themselves to have that feeling of completion, of beginning, middle and an end worthy of Chuck and Sarah's roller coaster relationship. You've done that. Thank you.
