Chuck Liddell is my favorite fighter of all time but let’s be honest here with all due respect... He is 48 years old, has not fought in 8.5 years, lost his last 3 fights of his career by KO and looked slow, out of breath and a shell of himself in this video. Tito is a bum and Chuck should win, but this fight makes no sense to me. I hope they both make it out of this fight in full health 🙏

It's not like he doesn't have options. I guarantee there are still people out there that would pay to take lessons with "The iceman." He could do mma or kickboxing seminars. He could open up a gym. He could teach at Hacklemans gym. There are plenty of different avenues for him to go down. He could work on his grappling and do a submission only match with Dan Henderson. He wouldn't make millions but he could still make hundreds of thousands. The people around chuck should have stopped him from doing this. Even if he is sand bagging like alot of people think, He has taken way too much damage over the years.

Faster hands do not mean better power, because the equal and opposite force a striker experiences might damage the hands more than the target. It has more to do with bone density than speed. Same reason why someone with brass knuckles, or a boxer packing his wraps with plaster can absolutely smash people, even though his hands are the same speed.
@@westernkratom1694 power comes from weight and momentum behind the punch not so much the speed. Just because a punch is fast dosent mean much. A very fast punch with no weight behind it will not make a har impact, a slower punch with the fighters entire weight behind it will put a guy to sleep. Example - Roy Nelso,, Mark hunt, Dan Henderson. None of them would ever be described as having fast hands. What they do have is timing and know how to put their weight behind the punch.

I remember when Liddell came to our training exercise at Fort Hood. That man has heart and it meant a lot to all of us for him to have that kind of respect, rampage was there too. I don't remember ever hearing anything about Tito doing that for us, hope Liddell puts Tito in the ground.
Chuck should train for a solid year. Condition his body and redevelop muscle memory. Chuck was timing, hand speed, power, and set ups. Ability to read his opponents patterns and use those abilities to ko them. His take down defense was world class and his ability to stand back up was scary. He. Had lost important factors that made his ability to stop you possible. A full plus year camp is needed. Hope he surprises me.

Yall know that fighters dont go all out before the fight. There cutting weight for one and dont want the lactic acid build up. They save the muscular glucose for the fight. It's the same thing as weight lifting. Would you work out your chest and max out everthing the day before a bench press competition. Probably not
