Inappropriate, classless, tasteless Carradine Cut at ► / jasonbrant
DO NOT WATCH THIS if you're easily offended. If jokes about David Carradine's death by autoerotic asphyxiation are going to upset you, then skip this episode. That being said, this is our second Chuck Norris movie and we absolutely loved it. This was our first review on the channel with David Carradine, and we actually enjoy a lot of his work (despite our jokes), so fireworks popped off. We had a ton of fun with this.

Unfortunately, I had to censor the majority of the Carradine jokes because of good ol' RU-vid. After trying to figure out what could stay and what couldn't, I just took most of them out. Riki-Oh was demonetized last week, so I couldn't risk not getting paid two episodes in a row. My apologies. Hopefully you can still infer the jokes.

I'm really not that sad about that. This is a good movie, one of my favorites, and I was really looking forward to the team talking about it. Having the episode about it being riddled with tired, over used jokes about a man's.. unfortunate death, well it stunk.

I'm really glad you guys did this movie. The jeans that Chuck is wearing he actually sold in the Century catalog back in the early 80's he wore them in a lot of his movies. My mom bought me a pair when I was 9 😁 David Carradine also sent some Chuck's stuntmen to the hospital because he had no control during the fight scenes. He also really hit the girl that played Chuck's daughter. And apparently both chuck and David didn't get along. And chuck warned him that if David hit him the face during a fight scene Chuck was going to retaliate

There is just something about the old school stunt work in the movies that used practical effects that can't be replicated. There was a Burt Reynolds movie the folks took us to back in the day called Hooper, and it was a love letter to the American Stuntman. It featured a young Jan Michael Vincent a few years after his turns in a Disney movie and a hitman in The Mechanic, and before his demons took over, his star was rising. He was good in this flick as a young stuntman coming in, and there are some great cameos. I think you guys would like it, as it seems to track right up your alley. And with the practical stunt work in it, the final sequence had to be shot all in one take with no room for error, and Reynolds insisted on doing a lot of his own stunt work in that and other movies, especially the driving sequences. . There's another Reynolds movie from back in the day called Stick. It doesn't get the greatest of reviews, but it is a fun time. One of the bad guys in the movie was played by a stunt man, and he did a stunt later on in the movie that was a world record at the time, and hadn't been performed without safety equipment before, if I remember correctly. He ad libbed what happened during the fall, and while people on the ground were congratulating him on surviving the stunt he was asking if they got the shot. Stuntmen sure are a different breed.
@CorbCorbin
@CorbCorbin 2 года назад

True Chuck Norris story: So, despite all the memes and all the action movies, Chuck Norris actually believes in nonviolent solutions to problems. So, he's sitting in a bar and a guy walks up to him and says: "You're in my seat, MOVE"! So, Chuck gets up offers the guy the seat, the guy REALIZES it's CHUCK FN NORRIS and says: OMG, your Chuck Norris, you could've kicked my ass, why didn't you just beat me up"? Chuck responds: "What would that have accomplished"? They remain friends to THIS day! It was a little snippet from his book!

Think that guy you thought was the guy in Chips was in a Star Trek tv series. Think his tv name was Chachotay or something like it. he was like second in command with Captain Janeway. He is very young in this movie. He also had a role in the movie ‘Night Of the Comet’. Also a little bit older at that time, this was an eighties movie. Then he went on to the Star Trek role. Can’t remember his name at this time…

This was a fun video! A classic Western-Action-Martial Arts hybrid that still ranks as one of Chuck's best. Fun fact: Chuck had those jeans special made so he could perform the kicks in them without ripping. Century Products would go on to shill those jeans in martial arts magazines for years. I had the pleasure of communicating with director Steve Carver on Facebook over the years and he was really proud of this one. RIP, Steve... Aside from someone else mentioning SILENT RAGE (1982)--which you should screen, I highly recommend AN EYE FOR AN EYE (1981, also Steve Carver), FORCED VENGEANCE (1982), A FORCE OF ONE (1979) and THE OCTAGON (1980). These movies represent Chuck at his most fertile martial arts phase!

Just some odd fun facts: the crossbow chuck uses, is a Barnett Commando (it was a self cocking model that hinged in the middle, with 2 little arms that draw the string...my father loved this movie so much he bought an exact copy) as far as chuck kicking in Jean's...he actually had his own line of blue Jean's designed during his time so that he could still kick.

Chuck Norris is the undisputed American hero. When he was deployed to Vietnam after finishing basic training in 26 minutes, he refused to take the Navy ship carrying his unit. Due to the urgency of the battle of Huê, he decided to swim the Pacific instead. By the time his unit arrived in Vietnam, he had already won the battle of Huê with days to spare. The arrival of Chuck Norris in Vietnam forced the Vietcong troops to go underground via the use of tunnels. But, unfortunately for the U.S., Chuck Norris one day had to swim back to the U.S. for a family emergency. That was the day when Saigon fell to the North Vietnamese. The sudden leave of Chuck Norris had a drastic impact on the South Vietnamese army's morale to the point that they simply couldn't defend the capital from the enemy.
