In loving memory of Charles Michael Schuldiner. You'll live forever in our hearts. For questions about the name of the song, is RIP by Heir Apparent, an awesome band. All have a nice day!! • Heir Apparent - "RIP" ...
Chuck looks so passionate about music. You can just see it in these pictures. Chuck is proof that you can be nice and still be a leader. (He basically lead Death). Makes me feel really good about being a nice person.
Great tribute! Thank you, man. Tomorrow is Chuck's birthday and I just want to say his music definitely changed my life. His soul lives through his music. Wherever he is, I'm sure he can feel it.
That was such a badass picture (to me atleast!!) Where young Chuck is holding out a picture from a Magazine of frontman (and my all time favorite Metal/Thrash band & frontman) James Hetfield holding his famous all white ESP "Eet Fuk" guitar during either Master Of Puppets tour or ...And Justice For All!! But it's kinda ironic Chuck & James are my favorite rhythm guitar, singers in their bands....I've ALWAYS had mad respect for both of these guys because they had the duty of writing the lyrics for their albums, along with steadily practicing the riffs on guitar...meanwhile trying to sing the lyrics while still shredding on guitar \m/ (≥≤) \m/ and also I'm very picky on the band's I'm into mainly because of Thrash & Death Metal bands usually have vocalists that I really just could never get into which mainly ruins the band's for me....which sadly is the majority of bands from either genre usually have vocalists who either squeal like a pig, or sounds like a growling Cookie monster...or like in Alot of older Thrash bands I hate singers who sing like iron maidens singer singing about fire and brimstone n dragons, and I couldn't really get into Megadeth either because of Mustaine's whiny nasally sorta voice turns me off from bands who sound like any of those things....and the other big factor is these bands riffs and arrangements just aren't THAT great I can't find old songs where there's a bunch hard ass fast riffs that you can actually hear instead of just having a wall of noise like when I first would listen to Slayer and I could barely decipher wtf is even being played on guitar Alot of the time because there's just Soo much distortion or just a wall of static noise....but for all the RIGHT reasons I can't get enough of Death's first 3 albums, Scream Bloody Gore, Leprosy (which is my favorite album by them) & Spiritual Healing....and even with the band Death....when I was exploring new bands to try to find something new (to me not new like new) it took me a little while to get into Chuck's voice but what originally drew me in....was those hard ass guitar riffs and I like how there were usually a totally different riff in the middle of a song like the bridge of the song right before it goes into a solo similar to what the older Metallica albums would do....a good example is the song like "Leper Messiah" that main riff was good but that part the bridge before the solo drops in was something I was always into!! And now I grew to love how Chuck's voice sounds on those first 3 albums!! And the same thing with Metallica I've wanted Soo badly to get into other old thrash bands because of literally how much I'm into Metallica and just wanted to try to find more of that Metal goodness but I just couldn't find really NO other bands I could get into because of vocals or their riffs were lame asf, and with how James Hetfield's voice sounds it's definitely a one of a kind voice....that i.m.o. is one of the best Metal voices ever!! He don't have to scream like Halford or growl like Cannibal Corpse he just has that gritty perfect voice for the music they made.... especially like during 88-89' James's voice was in it's prime.....hell you can even hear how good it sounds off their 1991' album self titled (Metallica:The Black Album) with the track Sad But True.....but the parrallels I see between Metallica & Death is they were both very important to the inception of the genres they help create.....with Death's Death Metal roots with their debut #ScreamBloodyGore in 86' and Metallica also played a huge part in defining a genre with their albums like Kill Em'All, Ride The Lightning & Master Of Puppets set the bar high on what Thrash Metal was
OMG, are u my brother? You "simply" wrote here my musical tastes, my experience, my logic. We should be kindred souls! Thank You Chuck for saved my life, I will always love you!! Keep the Metal Faith ALIVE \m/
the song is amazing !!! Both the guitar line and the bass line.. So, anyone knows where can I find the tabs (for bass and guitar) ? Nice tribute ! Long life Chuck !
he challenged death metal to set in a new higher level and Death metal give up. And then he challenged again DM and put him to think far, far away... and He did it. Chuky R.I.P
Ele já morreu. Vivo está DiGiorgio. Eu creio que os fãs do metal não deram o devido crédito ao Chuck quando vivo, e tentam recompensar depois de morto, pois os mortos tem uma áurea muito fácil de ser admirada.
like i said on another video; chuck was the archangel of brutality, sent from the depths of hell to bring us death metal at its finest. too bad the reclaimed him back so early :(
