Bluefish are such good fighters. I never fish salt until a buddy brought me out blue fishing. I never went back to fresh water since.

Love the videos man! You should have seen the blitz we had down here in WestLA yesterday. Striped bass in the surf getting left high and dry on the beach when the waves drained. It was a sight.

where in RI you fishing at? I been catching some huge stripers on artificial in some nice locations always driving around looking for new spots.

I've yet to get into a large gator blue. The small ones fight like hell, so I can only imagine how good a large one feels to fight.

Promise me you'll try the Bunker head next time out.

Use Octopus j hooks by gamakatsu you can set the hook every time. Use wire leaders for bluefish.

I don't know how they didn't brake your line, Couple days ago i hooked 2 bluefish, they both broke my line. I had 60 pounds mono line..

I know you guys hate on those blues, there are one hell of a lot of people would be happy to pull on those fish for you (quite a few willing to eat them as well), much like those jack crevalle in FL

I always remember calling "bunker" menhaden. Blues can tear the shit out of your leader but they are an excellent fighting fish at least. They kind of taste like crap too. Maybe smoked on the Traeger they could taste decent. Nice shore location! Reminds me of some sketchy shore spots like Hazard Rock.
