I left my church because of this exact reason. You have reassured me that I've made the right decision. They thought I was weird to State the fact that you can't just pray without initiating some kind of action. They even put my baptism lineage on the line when I terminated my membership with the church which further reassured me that I made the right decision.

Love you brother. I'm 109 days sober and counting. God is really having me work on staying focused on my daily life. He's instilling in me to not be so bogged down by the nonsense. I'm to work on my discipline. As I progress and stay on track this is to help me be ready when the time comes to step up. I Lolly gagged in my life enough. Thanks for this message. All I can say Rex is WOW! I always new this about church people but I just couldn't put my finger on it. I have a personal relationship with our God. This is why I feel like an outcast, but honestly it does not bother me. Yes God is not going to be this warm and fuzzy God when he comes back.....he's going to be angry. I moved to a small town about 2 years ago and thought it would be good if I started going to church. I went about 5 times before I quit going. Main reason: the pastor talked about things that didn’t matter, and interpreted the bible in a very strange way. I really couldn’t get into the “message” they were trying to convey. Seemed disingenuous. They also bragged about how much money the church had made, and paid off the building all through donations…which is fine, but bragging about it rubbed me the wrong way

The day of the lord will be the real great reset. He's not happy with us just look around at how messed up the world is today.

I read the Book and do my best to do what it says, not just the back of it. I left the Sunday show quite awhile ago.

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7: 14)

THERE IS A REASON THAT KEEPING THE SABBATH WAS WRITTEN SO MUCH..... THAT'S THE ONE HE KNEW WE WOULD NOT OBEY...... AND NO IT'S NOT THE DAY OF THE SUN!!!!

I left my church when they were telling everyone to take the juice and follow the laws. But I couldn't reconcile that with what was written about following man's laws which conflict with God. I believe it is a sin to fear man over God or even to listen to anyone who does not fear God above all else. When I saw my congregation falter in this regard I had no choice but to leave.

Love it Brother! Had my wife listen and she said that's exactly what I have been teaching. We are not the majority (thanks to God) but we have to speak up when we can. We have a small Bible study group here in East TN, call our group First Century Christians and man do the local churches think that we are heretics. Celebrating strange Holy Days that they know nothing about. Refusing to recognize Christmas and Easter like Mamaw and Papaw taught them to do. Like you I talk a lot , many listen but few hear. Keep up the good work. I'm an old geezer but might take up long range shooting just for the fun of it, thanks to you. May God continue to Bless you and yours.

Yes! Amos 5:18-20. I was just talking about this with my brother the other day. The day of the Lord is a day of darkness. The prophets speaks of it as a horrible, dreadful, fearful day.

Several years ago, before I became disabled, I was looking for a home church. I attended several and just wanted to crawl out of my skin, I couldn’t get out of those buildings fast enough. I felt like I was watching that movie where the guy would see the world through his sunglasses but when he took them off he really saw the ugly truth surrounding him. Lol

That’s a sharp double edged sword brother! We appreciate the truth in this lukewarm world.

Thank you for this. Over a decade ago when God opened my eyes to all going on in the people. I had been running our community food pantry, working worth the youth groups etc..so I was pretty wrapped up in that. When he said look around I saw my home was more holy then that was. Nice non denominational etc..I could no longer worship with this group. We stepped out as we were told to by the Spirit. The first thing that irked my spirit to no end was was the 501 c3. Give unto Ceaser what is his. Anyway, the church fell apart a few years ago. All the worry about growth and numbers in service and tithes etc...this is where it got them. Dont get me wrong, I love some of them dearly and they really loved God. Protecting a building full of people instead of holding each other up etc..Im glad to someone addressing this. We are not saved by our love God but by his love for us. Any works should be to fulfill his commandments to love one another. And that is the commandment our Savior added to the others. He did not come to remove the others. Anyway thanks for using your platform for this.

I’ve been a believer in Yeshua for 5-6yrs now after God broke me down put me on my knees & had me weeping like a small child on my kitchen floor. I’m not the typical follower I don’t trust churches & hate all the fake pagan worship rituals they preform. Well my aunt reached out to me to try out the Wesleyan denomination church that the pastor is delivering some great messages & lessons. I did & my wife & me enjoyed it for the most part other than the Christmas & Easter celebrations. After a year of attendance we go in 1 Sunday & they ask the congregation to vote on if they wanted to keep the pastor that had only been given 18 months to unite a very divided church. I didn’t know this but just like POTUS Wesleyan church’s vote every 4yrs & I didn’t like this at all but figured that he’d get the majority. I was wrong as he only received 39 for & 35 not for. The church was still divided & he decided to resign from that church bc he didn’t believe he would be able to unite us all. The next week I learned that the elders of the church were upset with his outreach program trying to help drug addicts so they didn’t want him there in fear of attracting to many druggies to God through Jesus Christ. I never went back as it showed their true colors, I already had reservations with all the paganism but this was to much. I am a recovering addict myself & if it wasn’t for God blessing us with our now 9yr old son & guiding me I’d probably lost everything by now possibly my life. Half the congregation forgot who Yeshua hung out with & was here to save. The whores, thieves, drunks & addicts are who he came for. I can’t be apart of a church that operates like the government.

Very, very well said Rex. After spending 40 years in the church and 20 of those years in some level of leadership, I came to the realization more than 10 years ago that I couldn’t Biblically define sin (breaking God’s law) despite having believed and perpetuated the idea that I and others are sinners who need a savior. While that is true, we are all sinners who need a savior, it should also be preached that being a sinner is being a person who has and is breaking His law. But that presents a problem because of Christianity believes and perpetuates the idea that His law has been done away with even though Yeshua clearly said He did not come to do away with His father’s law. If the law is done away with then there’s no such thing as being a sinner. If there’s no such thing as sin or being a sinner, then why would anyone need a savior? Christianity is a man made religion.

The funny part about churchians is how they think they are saved. The day of the Lord will be light to me, for the wrath that cannot be mine: Bring the fire danger close on my position if needed. I don't expect the creator has the same ideas of "life" as is hardwired into our meatsuits.

I've been thrown out of a church twice for standing and singing...then all the members of the heads of the churches had a meeting to decide not to give me food which is or was supposed to be 100 dollars a year.this happened last February in Esterhazy Saskatchewan Canada when I lost my job due to " covid" in the daycare that was the 4 th daycare I tried to work at my 12.00 dollar job.took my hoodie drove 40 minutes away with my last 37 dollars to the food bank...lol got some food but the kicker was three potatoes and one apple for my family of three.tried to set up a community kitchen two and a half years ago so people wouldn't starve nope got run out of town and a village lol

I agree, church has become a joke. At the end of my life I hope He finds me faithful.

I am in an imperfect church, we practice separation from the world, the problem with any church is that people are there- and people are prone to sin. I am glad God uses broken vessels like me, like Peter, like king David; the key to being a man after Gods own heart is repentance. Even so, come back quickly Lord Jesus!

I stopped going to church years ago... after I got a good look at how the church is actually run, I don't want any part of it.

God called me out about 6 years ago. I knew something wasn’t right within the ‘churches’. God used that time of solitude to grow a real and deep relationship with Christ. I’m learning to really hear His voice and know Him. It’s been a great blessing but sometimes lonely. I desire fellowship with like minded Christian’s. Anyone know of real Christian communities. I would move in a heartbeat to be with my real brothers and sisters in Christ.

The Law I see most often being broken, is people claiming to be doing works in Yahuah’s name, while they are actually doing those works to make themselves look good (or to enrich themselves)... “Thou shalt not use the name of the Lord in vain” is not about cursing and swearing...!!! Left "organized religion" years ago. I don't need someone telling me how good or bad I am at "being Christian." Having faith in Jesus, and surrounding myself with like minded people. Is far more powerful than any place made of bricks.

This is so true. There are churches who still follow his laws but they are few and far. I'm not comfortable where I'm at but I haven't seen any violations. I watch closely. Something isn't rubbing me right though.

12 years ago I was shouted down at a church Bible study because I promoted this funny idea that people shouldn't have sex until they get married. I condemned "Shacking Up", only one, or two other people supported me. I thought this was just basic Christianity in other words, do what God Said in His Word.

I wondered all the time my whole life about why God loves us so much. And I've never been able to come up with anything in 39 years until right now. I think it's because we put our eternal souls on the front lines in the battle between good and evil, here on Earth in bodies of extremely sensitive flesh completely exposed to good and evil with faith alone guiding us forward

The existing church consists of narsacists and hypocrites. Left the corruption years ago and began living in the Lord personally.

And they all covet the 501C3 status. Giving to get a deduction on your tax bill...well you have your reward.

The storm that we are headed into is one that will be talked about for ages. I knew it was coming nearly two decades ago. It’s taken half of that time to get all my family to see it and get prepared as best we can materially, physically and mentally most of them anyhow it’s impossible to get everyone onboard.
