On Saturday 29 December in pouring rain, the CVR's S160 2-8-0 No.6046 tackles the 1 in 45 and 1 in 69 gradients between Leekbrook and Cauldon Lowe on one of the CVR's 'Mince Pie Specials'. Despite much slipping on greasy rails, the Baldwin made a fine sight and sound climbing to Ipstones. No time to set up a tripod unfortunately!
