Actually thats exactly why I got this tablet, had to use windows to get my external drive working - however like you said it's on NTFS - and that won't work on the android OS... haven't tried testing the FAT32 but it should work, will let you know if I ever get to testing it though.

CopterDeal - קופטרדיל רחפנים Thanks. Thats what I fear. They'll probably both read external hdd and external SD. But any data on internal storage amy be inaccessible to the other installation. Also what worries me is longetivity of performance. In generel Windows hogs a lot of storage, don't know about mobile versions though. Usually storage devices require around 10%-20% of free space for optimum performance, even nand chips. Don't know the exact story with eMMC. Having both OS's on 64Gigs is asking for trouble in a couple of months. Try getting MS Office. Programs for windows are generally large. It's a great idea! But I think there are too many hardware drawbacks at present with these hybrids. But I am not sure and and haven't owned one. After a long deliberation I'll just stick to single OS tablet. You get better value in hardware and Android software. These hybrids are locked in Android 5. I understand this choice for someone who doesn't have any other computer. But I have PC at home with windows 10.

Ntfs can be read from android, may need es file explorer etc, I have read all formats on android. External hdd uses ntfs if over 32gb and android except that no problem.

Anything can read FAT32. Anything. Also android is installed on an ext4 partition, not FAT32.

it charges throw the usb c port only. So you can use an otg mouse in the mini usb normally

or you can get usb c hub with charging and normal usb port

I think both OS take about 40 GB. As I understood you would have 10 GB left on Windows and 10 GB on Android.

Hey shanky, welcome to the channel! Well, I'm using it almost on a daily basis as I find myself in places where laptop would be too big to carry or even when I traveled to Thailand for 3 months, do I defiantly can recommend it.

I have run software like this on the same CPU and YES but actually know, if u need serious work done, no, if are just learning graphic design and dont mind some slow downs here and there, sure give it a try

You can buy the Surface Pro if you want to run some graphic application. This Chuwi tablet it's not meant to be a tablet than can do hard work processing. This tablet is only for business purposes, presentation, entertainment, and of course Word.

Thanks for the comment appreciate your feedback, well I'm actually still using it 6 months now and also took it for my travels in asia as my main computer, the only real problem I had with it which is not mentioned in the review since it was was after that was shot (I might do a followup) is that for some reason my portable harddrive Glyph Atom doesn't work with this tablet pc in windows mode, probably because it consumes too much power, I had to buy a WD External drive instead, other then that - still my goto pc when I'm not near the laptop (which is most of the time these days)

I am considering buying either the pro or the plus version of the tablet. But haven't still decided. Have you tried the regular Hi10 (not Pro/plus)?

Yeah, I am sometimes too optimistic (my wife hates that lol) nope, I chose the pro because it has a better resolution for video, but I now think it's minor, I would have gone for the plus version as the current price now is worth it with the ongoing deal, I am planning on getting sometime in the future for review btw, link is here: www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_602713.html?lkid=12724136

I also think the 16:10 aspect ratio is better, but the Plus-model has a significantly larger battery and (supposedly) a brighter screen). Difficult choices are difficult. :D Thanks again for your replies!
