Nice shave. I have not tried that razor, but I did finally try the Gillete silver blue blade. I like the silver blue better than the Platinum, Nacet, or the green 7 o’clock. I’m enjoying the shave with these so much, I might have to get me a 100 pack of these.
Nice shave. Coincidently, I used my Semogue 610 this morning. But I always bowl lather when I use a boar/badger brush. Stirling Spice and my Rockwell 6S with a Lab Blue gave a BBS result. When I got back into wet shaving, I bought an inexpensive Gillette Tech clone. Then I discovered the Rockwell 6C and the rest is history. Have a great week.
@@BartBuzz once a guy finds his razor it’s a beautiful thing because he can have a great shave and experience other scents. For me that’s enjoyable. Thanks for watching Bart!
Lovely looking lather and shave Matthew👌 Don't think I've made a face lather for 4 years, I'm a dedicated bowl latherer, even with triple mills. Your entering Fall (Autumn here) and we just entered Spring, the cycles continue.👌🤠👌
Nice one! A great Fall scent and PAA has a number of them. I was just saying how much I like Malbolge, but for me that's an all year round one. I have my modded Tech, with a Canadian head, a spacer, and a Gillette bakelite handle. It's a lot like the Carbon and pretty efficient. I used a piece of that flexible cutting board material for the spacer and it was easy to make a spacer to fit under the blade to give it some more gap. Take care!
@@lastshadow9351 I have tested razors by shimming them. The Henson had no real change but the carbon did. Malboge is another favorite of mine. I wish there was a cube. Thanks for watching Ian!
You are the only one where I make the videos more slowly 😅😅😅 Very nice shave and good that you tell don't watch online 😅 for the stick Have a great Sunday and week 😊
I haven't used one of my Gillette Tech razors in ages but I always liked them due to that thin head, and a Silver Blue would be a great combo. I have a '57 Tech Ball End and a '47-'51 Tech Fat Handle. Maybe I will try one tomorrow with a Silver Blue. I never graduated to a straight razor as I gave up on my shavettes. Shaving my cheeks and neck weren't too bad but around my mouth and chin were treacherous. We don't all have a goatee you know.
@@lawrence1md I used that '57 Tech yesterday with a Gillette Silver Blue that already had seven shaves on it and it did okay, but a fresh blade would have done better. Those old things can give a good result but the handles are just too tiny and slippery. I'm spoiled by my PAA Ascension Twist with the optional 3.5" flare tip handle and the Gillette Red Flare Tip. It looks cool and grips your hand like barbed wire.
