Warning: This is going to get nerdy for a moment. And, honestly, I have no idea what I'm even saying because I'm not an engineer. At work, Kevin (who is an optical engineer) has to measure the "CL" of a system to evaluate its performance, and it wasn't going as well as planned. So, in true Kevin fashion, he came up with new silly lyrics to the Mexican folk song "Cielito Lindo" to reflect their frustration with CL. "C-L-ito Feo" was born.
He promised that if the team solved the problems with CL, that he would record "Cielito Lindo" and put it on RU-vid. The rest of the family humored him and joined in, preparing in about two hours. So, basically, we threw this together, so it's not perfect.
Kevin even forgot to use the word "feo" in the opening bit, which was the whole point of the song, but we didn't want to do it all over again. Oh, and I am NOT a guitar player. I know, like, three chords, so thankfully this was in the right key! Plus, it was getting late and we were tired. And Eve plucked her cello even though she's sick. What a trooper!
