Agree 100% ….I want to get the whole experience, the unwrap, the cut , the toasting….ahh the toasting and then the light…..perfect…..and it is 😊a solo personal experience
I don’t like it when there is a designated humidor attendant. I’m fine with someone asking me if I want anything specific or helping me out, but I don’t like it when the attendant hovers. Or they have a 100% hands off policy. I like to choose my own cigar, and I like to wander around and look at all the cigars.
I am new to this hobby, I would hate that experience. And I might walk out if they need to escort me into the humidor. I am good with cameras, but if I have a question, I will find out when I try it. I buy a lot of pipe tobacco that I have no clue of, then put it in time out 😂 if it doesn't taste good, far it and wait. But with a cigar at a lounge, I do not know, I will try anything once!
When I travel, I first look up the cigar lounges that are endorsed by my cigar club or my favorite brand, they have a list. Secondly if any of the members have other recommendations, I have found a couple great spots that way in StLouis and Dallas/Forth Worth area. A big dislike happened when I went to a lounge in a South Lake Tahoe casino. The cigars were marked up 100% (2x the normal price) and the clerk was really antisocial. It was empty too, except for a couple waitresses that came in to smoke a cigarette. Oh well, it got me out of the snow
@@CigarTitans "House of Cigars" factory in Dallas. ..Located within a strip mall.. Don’t let the location fool you. Willie owns the place. 3rd generation in tobacco. Grandfather farmed and shipped tobacco in PR. He rolls all his own blends on site so it's not the typical cigar lounge/shop. When I visited he wasn't there but his wife showed me around and their boxes of tobacco leaves they had just received for rolling. It was very interesting, I would definitely go back if I visit that city again.
Hey Guys, Cigartitan I have seen the truck you drove in one of the earlier episodes, and I thought how nice would it be to have a built in humidor in the truck . Would it be possible or would the change of the weather have a bad impact on the cigars,. What do you think?
They actually have it to where you can have special made humidors to fit into vehicles…I have a lower compartment in my truck as well as a hidden compartment in the rear seat where I keep cigars throughout the year….
Hi Jacqueline, so, yes it would be possible... However, given the extreme temperatures in California during the summer, I'm not sure how practical it would be. Assuming the humidor was built into the truck to "store" cigars that is. If it was simply meant to keep them humidfied from point A to point B, my travel humidor works perfectly. During the summer it often gets well above 90 degrees out here for several months. Typically, if it's that hot, it would likely reach temperatures inside the truck of approximately 138 to 140 degrees. Unless I had something to keep the temperature of the humidor regulated, it would be too hot and dry out the sticks quickly. Much longer answer than I'm sure you were expecting lol 😉😊
15:34 so you're openly saying that you dont enjoy the company of other black people. Everyone else is fine. Just not black people........ and you're buddy sits there next to you nodding with his silent cosign. As a black man I hope anyone else reading this comment wouldn't allow their bias to blind them as to how they would also be offended if this was said about them. Unsubbed. Adios tiki torch titans.
Hey garland, Brotha Stogie doesn't need me to speak for him, so I'll let him address this when and how he wants. However, since you mentioned me in your comment, I feel I should respond. You know what I find incredibly offensive, someone insinuating I'm racist, or condone racism in any way. I would think after almost 200 episodes of content, people would have the sense to know this channel has been about respect and love for the cigar community. Heck, we even have a second channel completely dedicated to fighting this dumb woke culture and incidents of racism. I'm not going to attack you the same way you came at us. You're free to subscribe and unsubscribe to any channel you want. But, I will leave this comment right here, because while I don't agree with it, or you, I think people should read it and make a judgment for themselves. I'll end on this, I'm guessing you're a younger dude, however, I could be wrong. Quit going through life looking for reasons to be offended. This has always been an open platform community. We answer questions all the time. Instead of labeling people as racist, ask questions and open up that dialog. We wish you the best. Cigar Titan
@CigarTitans don't even try it. Stop with the buzz words trying to gain undue favor amongst people who are not a part of this conversation by throwing out words like "woke". I didn't explicitly state that you're a racist. I pointed out the truth that you have no issue partnering with someone who enjoys your company partly because you're not black. I really don't think that it's your place to comment on this seeing that you're not the one who made the comment and the comment wasn't offensive to your group. I do know now that if I am in a lounge and stogie walks in that he'll think less of the establishment due to my presence. I'm trying to give you some credit in regards to having the intelligence to understand the slight. Yes please leave your comment and mine and yes let people watch the commentary. Those who refuse to see the insult are those who agree. Simple as that. ✌🏿
@@garland2534 I don't look for favor in anyone. I don't care if you like me or you don't. I'm not losing sleep at night. If someone leaves a comment on "our" channel, mentions me in that comment, I'll respond when and how I want. Again, you seem like you want to be offended so I'll let you be offended.
@Garland Your comprehension of what I said went right over your head. Which is ok, that’s why we enjoy responded to comments. So if you go back and LISTEN to that portion it CLEARLY states, that me as black man, when I go to a cigar lounge “I’m automatically expecting for there NOT TO BE much a people like me (other black men) to be there….I’m not sure where the lack of understanding is but I will put it simpler terms. There aren’t many black folk in the lounges that I frequent.
@@garland2534 after reading your comment to CigarTitan, I’m not even bothered because I’m used to people trying to twist words and make our community black and white….And you want to find more of us, visit Culebra in Ontario because there are more of us in there!…Don’t be ignorant brotheren because of your lack of comprehension. Ignorance is a huge downfall to people all over and your comment here, because you choose to cause an issue because of how you feel is disappointing. Think before you speak Black man ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
