This is NOT funny. My buddy Ralph is a huge Cillian Murphy fan, (it got him through his recent battles with PTSD and his divorce). He was absolutely delighted to see that Cillian was dining at Red Robin on the same night that he happened to be handing out balloons there. He happily tried to hand Cillian a balloon, with nothing but a smile and a hopeful glimmer in his eyes. Cillian sneered at the balloon and his cold eyes sunk into Ralph's soul. Ralph felt a sense of embarrassment, as if nothing he ever did would be good enough. Cillian looked him up and down, as if analyzing every one of his imperfections. Ralph cowered. Cillian then got all up in Ralph's face, and told him he was a failure. He proceeded to pop Ralph's balloon and walk out of the restaurant. Ralph was fired for driving away marketing. TOTALLY TRUE STORY. Cillian should NOT be celebrated, he should be blacklisted from Hollywood. Shame on you, rickmanalwayss, shame on you.
@@yeeticus_maximus9616 Are you implying that my buddy Ralph is a LIAR? Because that is absolutely insensitive and downright disgusting. Why would he ever make up such a thing? For attention? Why would he ever want attention from this? Ralph just wants to live in peace. He would never lie to me or anyone else. Faith in humanity=broken. 💔
The problem is that sometimes people seem to forget that he isn't a sex symbol (ofc he's beautiful but he isn't just that) but an incredible actor. I think he just wants to be appreciated for his talent and work.
I think because he is humble. Many actors go into the profession for psychological reasons, needing validation. (Matt Perry, Maryilyn Monroe, probably 3/4 of Hollywood). He does it purely for the craft. And he is very talented. He puts so many Hollywood actors to shame.
Lol it happens to me frequently, that's why I can't look at nothing while driving, I almost roll over and I'm always alert to avoid thinking, because when I'm relaxed, I'm like Cilian 😂😂
Well right now he's getting a lot of acclaim for playing a mass-murdering philanderer who helped kick start the cold war but I doubt that's how Nolan framed it to him.
Framing matters tho. In Oppenhaimer the main character himself admits what he did is wrong, while Christian is supposed to be sexy and mysterious fir being a total creep.
@@grammarofficerkrupke4398 no, Scotland was never fully colonized by Britain. They gained their independence fully in 1314, and were one of the first countries to beat back British Invasion. Scotland never surrendered and never gave up their freedom, and clan Macmillan bled and died fighting to maintain the freedom they fought so hard to protect. My family was never British, so no, you are wrong.
@@tracemacmillan9718 Irish people are definitely not British. There's no debating that. And listen, I'm not trying to be a dick and I am aware that most Scottish people would agree with you. Even if you never officially surrendered, you did eventually succumb to being part of a British union. You get issued a British passport, you use British pounds (albeit with a Scottish twist), your flag is part of the British Union Jack. You are literally located on the northern part of an island called Great Britain. Your country had a referendum and voted to stay a part of a British union . You're definitely not English. Why can't that be enough? Until you can get enough of your countrymen to come together and vote for Scottish independence, you will remain British in the eyes of the world and for all practical purposes.
I love that when interviewers are going for the “wow” moment or trying to get him to smile or laugh. He’s just looking at them like “are you f*cking stupid??” 😂
The compilation is wonderful to watch, I love how his face expresses what he’s possibly thinking. More people should do this because so many interview questions are so dumb and it’s never ending entertainment.
As an introvert with social anxiety i can relate to this man way too much. Some of these questions are beyond inane, I would probably disassociate too if i were in his position.
He's like the nice teacher at school who wants to do his job and help change kid's lives for the better, but then he shows up to work, realizes the kids are stubborn and moronic, and just has to keep being nice and tolerable even though he can't believe he's surrounded by the next generation of idiots.
I have always wondered what it would be like to just be so universally beautiful that the entire world and its inhabitants are so in awe with my appearance, they turn into complete idiots when trying to speak to me.
It's genuinely so funny, cause I have a close friend who's pretty dashing and istg everyone acts like that infront of them and I'm literally laughing my life off every time lol
I've had a crush on this man since I 1st saw him in 28 Days later, he killed that role. Then he continued to kill every role I ever saw him in, Red Eye, Batman, Inception, In Time, Red Lights.... just to name a few I've seen him perform in. He deserves the recognition, hope to see many more cinematic jewels from him 😊
@@shaunah.1165 no worries always happy to suggest something different. I love Irish movies especially the further back you go He was in another movie called Breakfast on Pluto
@@liberalbias4462 but it is not part of great britain which is what the nationality ‘british’ designates. and the full name of the country is the united kingdom of great britain and NORTHERN ireland because ireland is not part of britain or the united kingdom
He's just not giving these jerks of interviewers, the giggly reaction they expect by making such inappropriate and unprofessional comments and questions. He knows he's working, not meeting friends, so he stays professional. But these interviewers are by default, instead of looking for an answer, they're looking for how to stir up drama or belittle celebs. Cillian is just too good for such disgusting industry
I'd pay real money for Cillian, Tom Hardy, Harrison Ford, and Joaquin Phoenix to do a movie together and have them all do the pressers. It'd be an amazing show in itself and create memes for about 100 years.
Yeah, he’s incredibly handsome but he’s also an amazing actor and super smart so these questions are clearly superficial and trivial for him and I respect that.
Definitely the movie that got the ball rolling for him. He was perfect for that role its one of the best British movies of all time. So many others since have copied the 28 days later concept
It’s nice to see there are still normal, humble celebrities out there who act like decent human beings, all this extra nonsense of constantly promoting yourself by shouting and carrying on is not necessary, obviously🙄 very refreshing to see , good dude that Cillian 😊
