Honestly I'm glad Disney made Anastasia have a redemption arc and gave her a love interest and still kept her features showing that true beauty comes from within and any person can be beautiful without being conventionally pretty
Yeah but the second and third movie kinda showed that even when they were being manipulated you can still like, be better, this last movie ended it with Drizella ultimately choosing the dark side. Yknow? Like showing that sure your surroundings do play a part but only up to a point.
@@prettynarjinary4759basically Japan, china and korea have high suicide rates so him jumping off and killing himself is insinuating that he’s Korean bc of their high suicide rates…
I think the hand touching thing was to explain why they fell in love at first sight without talking much the first time 😂 But as much as I like the movie or the first movie... It always bothers me the stepsisters were displayed as ugly looking when the original fairytale states they were beautiful on the outside but ugly on the inside. Unfortunately most adaptations get this wrong. It would have so much more impact if they were pretty to look at but had horrible personalities (I actually wrote a book about one of Cinderella's stepsisters. Kind of. Because it really bugs me). For once I'd dare Disney to make a story about a not stereotypical beautiful princess finding love. But that's not going to happen...
Would you say Atlantis the Lost Empire counts even though it’s more about Milo than Kida? Also Turning Red and Encanto weren’t about princesses falling in love. Peter Pan in the animated movie him and Wendy never kissed. Also Elsa and Moana don’t fall in love. The Hunchback of Notre Dame ends with Quasimodo not finding romantic love but the love of friends and the city of Paris.
I actually thought Anastasia as a villain this whole time, when she was actually a mid:she didn’t really want to help Cinderella, she wanted to look like herself and make someone love her for her, not wanting Cinderella to actually marry the prince again. Does that make sense?
Nah, in the second film. It's shown that she's just a normal girl as well. And just like Cinderella, she also fell in love with a baker. Her sister and mother who are fucked up.
This movie is honestly the rare really good sequel even the one after this is solid, all the characters got way better arcs and so much more personality, like the prince and anastasia were done so well
@@Mithcoriel Cinderella II: Dreams Come True. It's like a bunch of short stories Anastasia falls in love, Cinderella sucks at being a princess, and then you have the odd one where Jaq becomes a human, I kind of ignore than one
"Girl I don't even love you tf" I'm crying 😭😭😂😂 This Cinderella movie is my favorite, me and my sister always quote Anastasia when she Says "Grandma?" When she turn the fairy godmother into stone
I did know that it existed, but I never watched it and I'm actually shocked how Disney changed the original story, that is way more interesting and fairytale-like Edit: After reading a few more comments I realised that this isn't the actual Cinderella? Sorry I'm really confused rn, but my comment still counts
Lmao, so many hilarious one-liners! XD You just took the already great characterization of the Prince, and accelerated it to 100% (and the lines for the Stepmother are genius)!
One of the best things about this is that Prince Charming, Anastasia, and Drizella are played by Prince Eric, Daisy Duck, and Minnie Mouse's voice actors.
I appreciate that this is the only Cinderella movie he’s explained. Didn’t even bother with the first two just went directly to the one I can only assume is his favourite.
Thank you for the synopses of all these movies that are big enough that I’ve heard of them and am curious about them, but are small enough that I’m never actually going to watch them
I totally forgot i watched his movie, i don't even remember if i did(no wait i think did tho) I'll watch everything this dude does.. love these summaries dude
