Cindy is the BEST. There isn't much more to say. First heard her with Asloeep art the Wheel. Somehow I managed to miss her when I lived, albeit for a short time, in Woodstock. It kills me.
Thanks RU-vid for leading me to this great artist. Was watching a clip of Leon Redbone on a old Johnny Carson clip. Wondered who the pretty, talented slide player was and here I am. Sorry for my ignorance of not knowing about her before but I'm hooked now. Beautiful rendition of an old tune. Thanks for posting.
Wow. Great sound and technique! Have been following you for many years and have your cd. I will study this since it is 6 dadf#ad and that's what I use. And btw the jh-24 in the background is awesome!!! 😜
Cindy Cashdollar just gained another rabid fan. There's nothing more moving than an artist who loves her craft. I just came from a Leon Redbone seg on Carson with her in the background. She was amazing even back then and so pleasant to see in the background with that smile.
I love this old tune and you play it so well..Beautiful sound from that instrument, makes me want to be high in the Appalachians this morning, with a little white lightning in a jar...Thanks Cindy, I am glad I discovered your music..Cheers.. Wayne..
How does this wonderful woman do it? She takes a corny old song and turns it into a piece of great beauty; for me summoning visions of deserts and prairies with vast horizons.
you prolly dont care but if you are bored like me atm you can watch pretty much all of the latest movies on InstaFlixxer. I've been streaming with my brother for the last few days =)
Incredible player. Caught Cindy at Antones many years ago. She was awesome then as she is now. Beautiful guitar, beautiful tone and of course a beautiful woman.
It's not just that she's so beautiful (I'm sure that comment will upset some people......), it's her grace and musical touch that hypnotises me - surely I'm not the only person (male or female) who wants to tell her how much she's appreciated???? ....... and of course hug her............. although that'd probably creep her out :o)
Cin, you scare the crap outta me and I love it. I have a Dobro Lilly of the Valley, and I love playing this stuff, but you do it much better than I can.
Sure like to hear what that chrome sq neck tricone National in the background sounds like. Cindy's one of the best. She's never on Garrison Kieller's show anymore.
That ´s just amazing! I am a kind of beginner dobroist and this was most usefull. I wonder how you manage to get firm position playing the dobro on your lap? Mine always slips. So, some tips would be nice. Thanks for posting!
