Such a special and touching background on the family and their late son. I could cry. Your 27 is in amazing condition. Big bucks, yep, I bought the Goldtone Weissenbourne a while back which I like a lot. This week I am so stoked to obtain a far lesser quality, great sounding artsy backwoods treasure, The primitive, "WISHenbourne" made by an eclectic Appalachian builder. Anyway missed you in Nashville way back when for Arlen Roth's Slide Summit with some of our good friends who performed. Maybe next time you are in town. Peace, much love and respect. Jodi Anna

There has been a few rare instruments have heard in my life that brings a lump to my throat when listening to it being played. This is one of them.

Very moving story, but I didn't tear up 'till Cindy started playing. I play slide, both acoustic and electric so my tear ducts don't lie. Beautiful.

That is the first Hermann I have heard, or seen. That has the sweetest, richest, bell tone tone I personally have heard. The projection is huge. Very impressive coming out of a high end sound system. Now I want one. LOL!

Good to see you again. IWe met at Dallas Ft Worth AWA Awards a long time ago. I am working on C. Kanutsen. I heard it was the precursor to the Weisenborn. Have you heard of them? This one was made in Seattle, Wa. It had some cracks in the top and back and the binding had separated in a few places, but I’m almost done with it The tuners don’t match so I will be looking for parts or another set that will look right. Want some photos? I also have an old Weisenbor as well. I love. The sound of it. I’m hoping that the C. KANUTSEN IS AS MELODIC.
