Anna is as happy as she can be playing... I just love this! I get so happy inside when I play old time music, I can see that joy in her face as well. I'm an older man now, its nice to see younger folks playing and enjoying this music I love so much.
Wow, video is 13 years old, I am just now seeing it. Heard this song with vocals over 70 years ago. Think his name was Lee Moore. Hoped you were going to sing it. Very enjoyable non the less. Very attractive girl, probably about 30 by now.
This is the lady who shreds Greasy Coat from that video with two people playing banjer, one of which would probably win an award for pickin'est grandma if there is such a thing. Anna is spreading joy with excellent old time fiddlin' and obviously lovin' every minute of it, while Joe's prolific rhythm keeps the beat so nicely . Anna's smile is as catchy as a yawn, as I found myself smiling while listening!!!!!! Great tune!
This is a great performance. Have watched many times and enjoy both players immensely. That Martin archtop and Joe's style are perfectly suited for old-time. And of course, Anna's verve.
