Photography studio scene setup tutorial in Cinema 4D.
In this tutorial video, you can see how to create a simple scene of a cyclorama, similar to a photography studio or lightbox where you can place any 3D object to render.
Let me know in the comments if you need any questions.

For those of you who are trying to follow this layout with the R25 or later interface, I recommend either of these options: 1) On the top right hand corner there is a toggle that lets you switch from the new layout to the old layout. Once that toggle is turned off then you press the "Standard" or "Model" tabs to see a change in the layout. 2) On the top left hand corner of the interface, you will see an hour glass. That let's you search for tools. You can type in it, "points" to find the Points tool and you will see the new icon for that. I hope this helps.

It will be better if you say the name of the tools you are using, for example, the "points" icon isn't specific enough for us using newer version of Cinema4D like R25 when the icons and interface has changed. It will be helpful for those who have never used Cinema4D before and I think it is important to say or label the names of the tools you are using in this "Tutorial". Thank you, hope it helps future tutorials for the newer version.

@@angelo_knf can you show us how to render our final work? I'll be using standard rendering since I won't be using octane or redshift.

thank you your tutorials are great help. I have a quick question im stuck please. im sure its very simple but im new to c4d. I have a camera looking at a cube in the centre and the camera orbits the cube. I want to add a background. However when the camera orbits...the background is static. Like it doesn't move around perspectively. What can I do to make sure the background moves as it should when the camera moves. thank you

So interesting, I am a Blender user and the steps difference until you get the same result between them are quite big.

Cool, I haven’t used blender yet but I have it on my list as I have heard that it is very powerful.
@remusg29
@remusg29 3 года назад
@@angelo_knf Blender become better with every version and I how I seen you createing the background is so hard, in Blender just add a plan, extrude one side and create a bevel for roundness. But is a little hard to apply textures on objects, they have to be unwraped.
@angelo_knf
@angelo_knf 3 года назад
@@remusg29 oh, I see. Yes, it would be much better to be able to add standard objects like this in an easier way in C4D too, instead of having to create them. To be honest, the reason I haven’t tried blender yet is that I have heard that it’s less designer friendly software compared to other 3D software. They say it is more on an engineering logic of doing things, probably the interface.
@remusg29
@remusg29 3 года назад
@@angelo_knf It was like that in the past but after the version 2.8 they made the interface more friendly. You can download it because is free. Anyway good luck!

You should search on "three point lightning" and learn about that. Its basic lightning for many projects like this! @aglianA

Grazie mille, solo un consiglio, quando parli di un comando dici come si chiama all'interno del programma, perchè attualmente c'è una versione nuova e i comandi non sono messi nello stesso posto! ma grazie mille del video.

The title says "free download" but on gumroad it's 1 euro +. Obviously not a lot of money but seems quite deceptive on your part...

Hi, the free download is on the pinned comment from a Patreon link (no subscription needed for that). If you can’t download it for free please let me know. Cheers!
