Great review ! ! Very interesting ... and very well done ! Love the intro , very neat ! The history on Douglas Trumball was good with great info and photos. Love the end also and the nice choice on the accompanying music. Very well done ! Looking forward to next week as well.
What a great surprise! I really love the rich variety found in your selections. Science fiction buffs absolutely love this movie. Yeah, it's worth a watch. The history material on the career of Douglas Trumbull is fabulous. The Panet of the Apes (1968) and Blade Runner are two of my favorite sci- fi films. Dale - great stuff! Keep at it! Your suscribers are growing! Enjoy your weekend.
Guess my channel is a bit like a tossed salad, you never know what to expect. Glad you enjoyed this one, and yes I'm getting there, slow but sure. Doing some local history next week, hope you'll return. Thanks again, and you have a great weekend as well!
I have a lot of favorite films and if forced to say this is my most favorite of all. Sadly very overlooked film. Saw it in 71 at local theatre, and (in those days) stayed and saw it again three times. I was moved to tears (no really). The music was beautiful and moving as was Dern's performance. One thing that I always wonder: murdering his fellow crew? I can never say "wrong or right, but his reasons are acceptable. Was overjoyed when it was released on Blu-Ray and angered at the soundtrack mastered in MONO. Thanks for the wonderful review and video. At least the soundtrack album was stereo, first pressed on black vinyl, then awhile later pressed in GREEN. Have a Large marquee poster framed and hanging in my living room. Once again thanks for your reqognition of this film! Like Robin Williams in Bicentennial man - never mentioned or given critical notice.
