Absolutely stunning! This is almost the exact look I’m trying to achieve. The quality of your lights are far above average but you did a wonderful job explaining the practicality of how to achieve this look. For some reason the light bulb came on for me when you explained it 😉. Thank you. Blessings.

Lots of DIY ideas from this! Especially like the idea of making light patterns. Could easily do it with cardboard, but a jigsaw and a sheet of plywood would last longer. Light stand clamp to hold it, OR you could affix a small metal rod similar to what's showcased here. Best part? You can make your own custom pattern. Fun project! Thanks Armando.

Bro, I always set my hair light far and back ( I don't have a tall ceiling in my studio) but I'll try what you did here and put it right above my head next time. Also, thank you for making these videos in Spanish! RU-vid is exploding in Latin America and a lot of people don't know English and don't know how to make videos. I'll spread the word around and I'll also help a bit in the coming days with my own Spanish videos on my channel (Jolla Y Mark).

I am going to go out on a limb and attempt to answer that from looking at the video. First of all there is some motion blur when he moves his hands in the "actual" footage so I am guessing he shot it at 24 fps. This means his shutter speed was around 1/50s using the 180 degree rule. He shoots Canon and most good Canon lenses are at least f/2.8 so I am guessing he is at f/2.8 here since the background is pretty blurry but could be at f/4 or even f/5.6 or more because his entire face is in focus the whole time and f/2.8 has a pretty shallow DOF. He is using some very bright lights, so ISO has got to be pretty low. not sure what the native ISO on a C500 is but he probably set it to somewhere around 160 or 320 if native ISO is the same as their DSLRs. Maybe 640 to match up with the more dimly lit background of the scene but I image it is a lower number for sure. I'd be curious to know how close I am from Armando...
