I want these seats for my 370Z but I have a question: Since I"m not going to use a harness bar (my sanctioning track series does not allow one without a roll bar) - my question is how do I run the stock seat belt on the seat? It seems that the seat belt lap belt component will not sit on my lap because of the height of the side bolsters. I'm struggling in my mind how to picture how the lap belt could possibly go through the two harness holes on the bolsters.
slide the seat belt buckle and the actual belt through the two holes. I'll try to say this the best I can but basically on the driver side you obviously know where the seat belt is and the outside hole. Grab the buckle and thread it through the outside facing hole of the seat(closest to door) then over your lap, and then through the other hole of the seat(closest to center console) then buckle it in. hope this helped!
+snowcamo 3 I don't know if they will allow that as the shoulder belt won't be doing much but it'll still be 3 points of contact just a weird lap belt. if anything just have the belt over the seat like normal and I'm sure it'll still work just be at an awkward angle Ha.
Not sure if you ever found a solution. Id unbolt the bottom of the existing seatbelt and run it through the closest lap harness hole. From there just bolt it back to the car frame. you should be able to slide forward and back still and also buckle through the other lap harness hole. if not then you will need the roll cage.
