Or...how about just follow the checklist for the airplane you are flying...why stop at a gear lever....why not APU, slat and speed brake simulators...geesh...

I support this but........ gear lever and no retractable gear?????? Maybe it was the presentation but from my perspective I didnt see retractable gear. Flicking a fake switch in your check lists won't factor for a realistic experience. But.... anything for cheaper aviation is good news as long as the quality of aviation is not damaged.
Why not fly the real plane in a VR headset simulator, nearly for free. Hundreds of hours. And if they wanted they could add a tilt chair to simulate the modest g forces in an airliner. If the gold standard is to believe you should land in an icy river instead of on the nearby runway comfortably within gliding distance, how hard can it be.
