@@FactTech14 Ordered the kit from the above link. Received a complete package with some additional accessories which are still unused. I was able to successfully set it up. Adjusting the tube inside the printer took a few tries. Overall your video was extremely helpful to me. Thanks a ton.

Installation of ciss is always tricky and hectic, a ciss kit will only work if and if only it is installed successfully or else it may damage the printer and cartridge ..so please check if in near by any professional is there who can install the kit ( printer repair shop) , coz for me to be able to install the ciss initially it took me 6-7 attempts. So if you are confident than you can install it by yourself

Hi, It's always better to refill manually, if ciss is not installed properly than it may damage the printer . After approx 500-1000 prints one needs to replace the cartridge

Hi, It all depends on you brother/sister , I have seen people who install ciss for the 1st time but they install it very perfectly and I have seen people who doesn't matter how many times try but never install ciss properly Ciss will be able to print approx 1000 pages

Hi, It is good to go for original ink canon gi 790 inks , but you can also go for any substitute ink (any one you wish, just check for good ratings and reviews )

Can Canon 790 ink is good for inkjet printer, because last time 790 ink not filled in cartridge (out flow just in 1 ml)

Hi, Abhi tak mene cartridge change nahi kiya he ciss install ke baad, par usually after 500-1000 prints karna padta he xhange

It's advisable to use original ink of the particular cartridge used But one can use substitute ink also but the print quality may not be that good

Hi,.yes you can use , ciss will also work but first try manual refilling and when you are comfortable with the process than only install ciss

Please clean the outlet of the cartridge with a cloth, it will solve the issue

Hi, Before printing open the stopper for few seconds and that too open it slightly , in that few seconds the sufficient amount of ink will flow and after that close the stopper ... You can print approx 30-40 prints in that ink..similarly open stopper next time for few seconds and close it

Sir, can we just let the stopper open at all times and what problem it may cause?

There will always be leakage and it may damage the printer

Hi, You need to reset the cartridge Reset printer Sometimes even after the cartridge has been refilled,the printer might display an “empty or low cartridge” message.This is because when any cartridge is inserted into the printer,it will retain the serial number of the cartridge in its memory.Since the printer is not aware of the cartridge being refilled,it will fail to detect new ink levels.The following methods can be performed to rectify this situation. a. Power off the printer by holding the power button for 60 seconds straight.This will reset the memory of the cartridge in there and will consider it as a new one. b. Note that the printer has a memory capacity of two cartridges.Print an aligning paper from the refilled cartridge.Now,replace this with another cartridge and repeat the same.For step three,replace the old cartridge with a third cartridge and run the aligning paper.Now the printer will assume this as anew cartridge as the memory capacity of the printer has been exceeded by inserting more than two cartridges. c. The last step includes covering the contact points of the cartridge. (i). Remove the cartridge and apply tape on the left contact points.Insert the cartridge and print an aligning page.Ignore error messages on the screen. (ii). Remove the cartridge and apply tap on the top right contact points.Insert the cartridge and print an aligning page.Make sure to ignore error messages. (iii). Remove and reinsert the cartridge without any tapes this time and the Printer will recognize the refilled cartridge to be a new one

Because the cartridge was leaking which meant that the cartridge outlet was not jammed
