Man that is one of the finest Citizen's I have seen. I wish they would cut back on their eco line and release more automatics to those outside of Japan.
Wish I could find one of these bad boys. A lot of these Sarb competitors by Citizen are tough to find , I have a lot of 9 series movements and they’re top notch performers. Thanks for putting your Citizen videos up, I ordered a Citizen Eco-drive World Time GMT because I was able to get a good look at it. Super solid looking piece, good lume , milled clasp for a bargain. I bought this watch after seeing this review. Everything is perfect, but scratches and spots bother the hour hand and minute hand. Other than that, it's great.
Lovely watch.. the chapter ring is a bit needlessly busy for me personally , but one can see its marketed amongst the Sarbs & sarx of the world but with high beat movement ...Nice !
That sweep is nice and smooth, the movement finishing is a little rough but it might be just this model, at least Citizen is moving in the right direction. I don't care for most dress watches but that's a sweet watch and thanks for the review, don't see the higher end Citizens detailed like this.
Thanks for the video. FYI - This series comes in white , black, blue and brown. I owned the blue one. I owned it for a little over a year and then sold it and instead bought a SARX, because the black chapter ring with those white minute markers were just out of place.Also the crystal or watch face is 36mm for watch case of 41mm, the lug to lug is 47.8mm. Even though the thickness is just 11mm, with such proportions this watch sat quite big on my 7.25 inch wrist. Hope to see many more well proportioned dress watches on your channel.

Are you talking about the model NB0040-58A ? If so , They both great watches with the same caliber :) I believe they almost the same , The Grand Classic have lume and this one doesn't , I will be happy to compare between this 2 pieces but as i saw the Citizen Signature Grand Classic is discontinued and the nb1041-84e its pretty new model from 2019 . @@WizardWatch After this review, I bought the blue color of this watch, and I can tell you that I am very happy with this watch. The blue dial has a hundred shades of blue in it, it changes color depending on the light, but when it gets a bit darker you see the real beauty of this watch, it looks so luxurious. it's just a work of art and the longer you look at it the more I fall in love with it. @@WizardWatch I never understood why citizen doesn't sell their watches and specially their autos to european market. I mean such a model could give a blow to the presage line of seiko or other entry to mid level swiss watches.
cant explain citizen tactics in market sells i guess they dont care from competition or try to be the best or something like this .... probably the profit for them in the watch section is enough because they sells other stuff too :)
Looks almost identical to the Seiko SARY057. Great looking timepiece. Citizen really need to release more automatic watches. No idea why they don’t capitalize on that opportunity, especially considering they make their own movements.
This is something i always ask my self too , You can barely hear on citizen and their advertising is much less then seiko , When seiko made new models everybody hear on that , Still citizen is a different story
Does the crystal have AR coating? Two things I don't like: only two micro adjustments and no half links. Second, that rather large chapter ring is not necessary on a dress watch and the minute markings should've been on the inside of the ring not on the outside where the minute hand doesn't reach them.
I'm not sure i love the polished bits on the bracelet, at the price it seems to be available at right now i think i'd try to get a Sarb033, but if the price dropped a bit and it was more readily available in Europe i would consider this one for sure
imo this watch is much more quality then the sarb .... I would say its between sarb to sarx quality :) Also i believe the price will drop because its pretty new watch 2019
