I've listened to this song since i was 5 im 11 now i have memories of being in a Jeep Wrangler and listening to this song up to the Smoky Mountains in TN, and i still remain doing the same thing i will never forget this song nor will i ever forget Citizen Cope
I was introduced to his music in 2011 after seeing him live in Grand Forks, ND. Truly an amazing artist. The simplicity of his performing style, coupled with his deep and meaningful lyrics are what I really like. It's not too often that an artist like Cope comes along anymore, and I'm glad to have stumbled onto his music, even if by pure coincidence.
Dude....I just stumbled on this song again and am full in nostalgia and read your comment about being in Grand Forks, nd in 2011. I left Forks in the summer of 2011 for Germany and was totally into these guys. Never saw them live though. What a super cool/weird coincidence.
My dream finally came true. I got to see you in OKC on Friday 8*13*21 I felt like the luckiest woman standing right in front of you, watching you sing into the mic, strumming your guitar. It was absolutely beautiful Thank you 🙏
@@kileerogers7120 it was truly a wonderful experience! Although, I don't think he liked it much. There were some drunk idiots in the crowd (of course) who were loud. Even he told them to politely shut the fuck up! He didn't even post any of the concert up. Regardless, I'm thankful for every moment of it! Have fun!!
Searched soundtraks from the movie alpha dog true story rember hearin that song one time n it grabed me love that tune got some other bad ass songs the man is true artist
Cold Case used this song in the episode "The War At Home" in the scene when the detectives go and talk to the victim Dana Taylor's Daughter and she recalls her mother freaking out on some kids in the street. I fell in love as soon as I heard that part!
