Yep that line broke me. I have found CS only in a past few months or so and find most of their songs hit home but I thought I was doing okay with this - not too close to home, enjoying the song etc - that mentally I was doing better, but that one line made me realize I'm not as okay as I think I am

That quote is very true there are many out there who even in their youth get stuck in that terrible place in your mind that u feel will never ever end. People out there go through a lot feeling deppressed, trapped, unloved, unwanted, or even suicidal. Just that never ending cycle can tear someone to peices. Some people even just bottle things up and isolate themselves from socializing, doing daily regular things, feeling hopeless or no modivation to do anything, or even taking care of yourself. It is hard especially when u isolate yourself to a device like a computer, or phone to listen to songs that make u actually feel as if you're not alone.. And it's also very hard when family members put u off as lazy, ungreatful, selfish, or some kind of horrible name just because u are deeply depressed and no one helps.. I hope someone reads this and actually understands these things.. It hurts me to think the world has just gone cold. No one cares about your feelings or just assumes u are lazy, rude, or just plain fine when u need help most. Even if u try your best some find it not good enough and push u to do more. Or the never ending expectations from parents, or family members that digs u even deeper into the terrible emotions u feel. Especially when u actually try to talk to a loved one and they just say "You're just being dramatic." Or "U always have something wrong." But yet once u tell them "I'm suicidal" They finally listen after so long. But then still just don't understand.. And that's fine it's just if u weren't in that situation and someones trying to vent about their feelings u can't judge them! Or whoever u try and vent to (like a loved one) and they just put u down for it or make u feel as if you're a failure that doesn't belong.. And some people struggle with this and even no matter how hard they try still nothing changes.. Sometimes when people vent they tell their situations and then it seems as it finally went through once someone says " I've been through it too." And just as u get your hopes up they crush it all over again by doing the same awful things to u and not ever hearing u out.. Then u end up in therapy.. If no one else will care to listen nor put it to heart you're trying to explain yourself but it doesn't change.. But after a while it will. U just have to have hope and build your confidence! U can't sit there and let someone treat u bad or judge u for the situations others put u in. I've learned instead of sitting and letting people put u down u need to stand up and tell them u are human too!!! U ARE HUMAN TOO!! And no matter if they like it or not they can't control u nor tell u how to feel. It's just not worth all the pain not fighting back for yourself. And you may be wondering how I understand this.. But beleive it or not that was all I was put through and through my 12 years of living I've related to all Citizen Soldiers music and I will get past deppression soon! I'll remember this subject and take to heart for as long as I live!!! 😆💖

Yes everyone's journey is different and everyone deserves to be heard, I've recently came out to my family as nonbinary and I get judged for what makes me uniquely me and its harder some days then others I try and seek out a positive from the day and that's getting harder

@@CitizenSoldier thank you for your beautiful music and inspiration, life is hard just came out to my family as nonbinary and people judge as they are closed mined and it's harder and harder but at 33 years old and music as my inspiration I feel that 1 positive no matter how big or small it is can slightly help but it's still hard
