Citroen Relay, Peugeot Boxer, Fiat Ducato, Ram Promaster Instrument Cluster (speedo) removal.
We needed to send off our Instrument Cluster to be refurbished / repaired as we are having issues with our airbag light staying on and dimly lit LEDs when engine is off (which is draining our battery).
As mentioned, there were 4 'T25' screws and out she comes.... super simple.

It cost us £11.15 to send it off (Royal Mail special delivery), £150 for the repair and £12.95 to get it shipped back. It was received by them and sent back in the same day. So it's a super fast service and you won't be without your van for too long 😉👍🏻
Remember always disconnect your battery when working on anything electrical in your van!

My 2017 Fiat Ducato camper has lost all the info trips mpg etc from the cluster..My garage quoted me between £3/400.Glad i watched your vid and im gonna do it myself and send them in for repair..

Now i just feel stupid for sending my relay to the shop to get the cluster replaced :D:D

Really good pair of videos. I now think I can replace my faulty cluster. Are all your gauges working OK now? Obviously you were starting from cold and not moving. In my case the led unit seems OK but none of the four gauges work.

Hello, first of all thank you for the kind words and also taking the time to comment. I can confirm that everything is working fine. No Dim LED's, all guages working fine and no airbag light etc (although that was also an SRS ECG issue). Cartronix are great. Good luck and let us know how you get on 👍🏻

Isle Roam Thanks for your speedy response. My usual garage guy isn't familiar with this problem and I don't want to be ripped off by a Peugeot/Fiat dealer. So it's definitely Cartronix for me. Thanks again. Hopefully I can get back to you with a success story. Your tips about the hat (to cover the gap) and taking a photo of the mileage reading are really helpful.

Hello again. Removed the panel and posted it Special Delivery to Caratronix on Monday.Received it back with the four gauge motors repaired on Wednesday. Refitted the panel today (Thursday). A slight delay as one of the front panel U screw holders came off and disappeared when I removed the panel. Had to make a 16 mile journey to Halfords to get a replacement. It‘s working just as it should. I‘m relieved and absolutely delighted. Thank you! 👏 I‘m 79 so if I can do it anyone can. 😀😀😀

I watched this video some time ago, thought that's interesting but don't really need to know this stuff. Two months on and without managing to identify my battery drain I came back to view again yhinking I might need to remove the cluster. Even better that you've mentioned dim lights (I have briefly too) and Cartronix, as battery drain is another reason they repair clusters, so I'm going to give them a go. Luckily my father lives less than a mile from theirs, I'm only 15miles away, so I'll pay them a visit. If it doesn't work it was worth a punt. (BTW have wondered how you're doing as haven't seen any new videos recently.)
