It was by playing this game on a coin-op for hours and hours, as a child, that I started listening to classical music. Loved the different versions of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1!

The cop cars' models changes on every track that represents countries. I guess that the US police cars are based on Chevrolets or Fords, English cars are vans possibly Volkswagen, Indian police cars are pickup trucks possibly from Tata Motors, French cars are Renaults, Japanese cars are possibly based on Tokyo Metropolitan Police cars.

If you used to play this one as a kid, you were either: 1: a japanese kid with a Famicom 2: or a latin american kid with a Famiclone such as the brazilian Dynavision system I love this game.

Man that shit was hilarious back in 1988 when I first played this at the corner store near my aunt's house. As an 8 yo at the time, I had never seen a death like that in a game yet and found it funny as fuck for whatever reason. I bought the NES version later that year.

I don't think I ever made it past the first stage back then, it wasn't a hard game, but wasn't easy either, mix that with poor coordination from me and the fact I was around 6 at the time and sucked at platforming games, maybe I should give it a shot again now that things have changed.
