A 13-year-old Minnesota boy opened up his own hot dog stand, and the health department got a complaint about it. Instead of shutting it down, the city helped the driven teen get a permit.

I love to see a kid already on the right mindset. He's a hustler and will find a way. This kid has a mans mentality of ill figure it out. I absolutely love his ambition. Helping is better then penalizing, especially in this case.

I wish the city of Los Angeles was as nice as these inspectors. Instead, they want to set up regulations and fees so high that it’s difficult for immigrants especially to start their business! This is unfair especially for low income people that are just trying to make a living. I get that there’s regulations but help our people out instead of trying to put them out of business. Let’s help the country thrive instead of letting the economy go down! 😡

I know that new york city and other cities Allow street food vendors. I just wish food vendors were allowed in every city and town!!!! Oh boy, would that be great!!!! I hope that this kid will be able to get a full-size hot dog vendor cart to increase his sales!!!! and because he is in Minneapolis maybe the Minnesota Twins will let him set up his hot dog at the stadium.
