So I was in my school library the other day, and I've read CoHF many times on my kindle, but I was bored so I picked up my schools book version, AT THE VERY END IN COMIC BOOK STYLE WAS TESSA AND JEMS WEDDING IN LONDON IN 2009 AND JACE AND CLARY AND MAGNUS AND ALEC AND IZZY AND SIMON WERE THERE!!!! AND BEST OF ALL, WILL, IN SOME SORT OF GHOST VERSION!!! *cries tears of happiness*

i feel like the reason alec was so moody and annoying in the first few books was becase people were less accepting about him being gay but once he came out and him and magnus became a thing he got a lot happier and more involved and we got to see alec the way magnus sees him

Sebastian has to be my all time favorite character ever in any book. Why? 1. I've always liked villians (especially complex ones) 2. Thanks to his demon blood it felt like Sebastian was destined to be evil even if he didn't want to be, even if there was potential to be good he was doomed. That made his character for me personally a lot more complicated. Like when in CoLs he asked clary if it was possible that someone like him could be redeemed/loved. Someone who by nature is evil with no say. It felt like he almost needed clary to love him in any way so that the Jonathan side shine a little more so he wouldn't be evil. Is it evil to want to be seen has more than a monster? More than what everyone and everything tells you you are? And by all people your sister! I mean he was willing to stop the war for that chance. But since he has demon blood he doesn't truly understand what love is, because he physically and mentally can't. Anyhow that's why I loved Sebastian.

City of Heavenly Fire is really bittersweet but it was fantastic!Also what is it with Herondales and sex in caves? And I totally think your theory on Izzy is correct.

I just finished the book and I want to know If anyone else got frustrated about Tessa not talking to Jace, I was literally dying to see them talk and share and emotional moment and suddenly the book was over and I feel so frustated

For whom i have always felt a certain affinity" like I don't remember tessa caring much for the blackthornes in tid so could that be foreshadowing something in the series that cassandra Clare is writing about tessa's children!?

I really liked Sebastian/Jonathan and I was hoping that he would stay alive as Jonathan, so when he died I cried so hard

Alec was KICKBUTT in this book! I hadn't really enjoyed him before, cuz he wasn't that exciting but he got AWESOME HERE! I love the part where he's threatening to shave Jaces hair and then the part where he says "I did not make a pie for 3 reasons. One because I don't have the ingredients. But one thing I don't get in this book was that Cassandra said there was going to be 2 weddings in this book. I was so expecting Jace and Clary to draw the marriage runes on eac toher, like an early proposal; not exactly get married yet, but they still kinda are..... You have no idea how much I've been looking forward to this bookchat, I have literally been checking RU-vid daily to see if Christine had uploaded it yet. And it was worth the wait, I love all the other booktubers but nobody else manages to capture the enthusiasm and passion that Christine expresses in her video! (Wow sorry that got deep!) but anyway I adored the book and anybody who is contemplating whether or not they should read the series, should. You won't regret it!!!

I absolutely love your enthusiasm with these books. It makes the reviews laughable and very entertaining. I just finished the book yesterday (FINALLY!) and I could not stop smiling and having mini squeals every time something awesome happened. I absolutely loved it!! It's probably my favorite one. I have to say what surprised me most was my feelings towards Sebastian at the end. I hated Sebastian with a passion. Some people said they felt sympathetic for him throughout the other books but I couldn't stand him because he seemed so impossible to kill. But then when Johnathan actually came to the surface after all the evil burned away I ACTUALLY felt sympathetic for him and I didn't think that was possible. Overall, I absolutely loved the book and honestly have no complaints whatsoever. It was so good!

I cried so much at the Simon thing too...I think city of heavenly fire is my favourite of the mortal instruments :)

The one part i found really intriguing was when jace and clary were going to have sex in the demon realm, and jace just happened to have some condoms. So when hes packing to go to a home dimension of demons where there is an incredibly high chance he will die, where hes going to have to face the biggest threat to shadowhunters there ever was, and they dont know what they could face......he decides he needs condoms.........

how i cried throughout this book more after 23 i was in tears and did not stop crying until the end or even like a good two hours after

I thought I was going to cry more once this series ended...i did cry, yes, but definitely not as much as I did at the end of Clockwork Princess. I was in denial for about 2 weeks about the ending of Clockwork Princess. I wanna re-read TID and TMI again, once I get done with ASOIAF. I love you, Christine.
