Hard disagree, Sonic Frontiers has the WORST title music theme in history, like, it's just generic piano music like Metroid Other M had, Sega really dropped the ball there.
I feel that everything about this game was missed potential. It had the concept. It had the themes. It had the atmosphere. It was all there but it was never met to it's fullest potential and we got an average product. Eh at least the music is still great.
@@ArylBarrel Yeah the whole apocalyptic theme was epic on paper. There was no Sonic game that took place in the midst of an apocalypse war type setting prior to this. I really wished the game lived up to the concept it was trying to work towards. The game really isn't as bad as people say it is but it could have been so much better.
@@ArylBarrel I feel like its hard to top what actually happened in terms of the story. Eggman won. And then Sonic just blew past all of it no problem. Probably the easiest Sonic game to date, actually. Even though Sonic lost right at the beginning. Even though all the other characters had been struggling for a while. The only thing that would be worth bringing back would probably be a more fleshed out custom character. But, even then, I'm not sure I like how I'm imagining that will affect the series at large. Missed potential all around. Smh
The visuals are fine. The music is great. The concept is cool. The character design is good. The controls suck. The level design sucks. The story is laughable. The final boss is yet another copy paste from Sonic Colors. Instead of using the superior Hedgehog Engine again for this game, they shoddily reverse-engineered the Lost World engine into a boost game.
I may not enjoy Sonic Forces very much, but there are some good qualities I like from this game. The music, while not as good as the previous Sonic games it's still very good. City Park Avenue is one of them for sure.
I know your comment was old, but i agree. This song is really good and much of the soundtrack grows on you overtime. The music with the London Symphony Orchestra is amazing and stage music like Luminous Forest and Network Terminal interior are amazing. Classic Sonic music is the only one i did not care about but then again Classic Sonic in this game was ehhh all around.

It's because everyone's mad about the synth being overused, it didn't seem overused to me. It felt used appropriately due to the story being about war and the fact that most synths are used in war type media. Kind of like what Star Wars The Clone Wars did, but it was used in certain episodes.
@@-hamburgerman- honestly it’s the only reason I like the song and I didn’t even here it in game I heard it in the background of someone else’s Play through
I really enjoyed my time with sonic forces, I loved the custom avatar and spent way, way too long replaying all the stages, and completing the missions so I could unlock more clothes for my OC. I hope sega doesn't give up on the concept and releases another game along the same vein someday. Hopefully, with a more fleshed out campaign, and more customization options.
@@tr4sh37 There is no need to be so salty over someones favorite song. You probably have nothing else to do besides call people cringe and talk to your discord kitten you fat loaf of bread
