Awesome vid! These auxito bulbs aee insanely bright. I bought them too after your recommendation, and boy I was not disappointed. Don't know how but my 107 has the trickiest H4 connectors in history so each took 10 minutes to replace.
in the wifes Aygo i dug deep and went for nightbreakers which are pretty awesome better than the xenons on my saab which i literally just replaced today but i think the reflectors are done so time to find new lights damn swedes
I’ve got Nightbreakers in the mrs’s c1. They are good actually and much better than standard, but I have to say as good as they are they’re not a patch these.
Nice video. I would love to upgrade my headlights to the osram nightbreaker led‘s. Unfortunately it‘s not legal in Switzerland to mess around with your lights. I agree to a certain point but also not. I will probably install some halogen nightbreakers if my OEM bulbs from 2009 fail😂
Well i caved and ordered some (ebay £31.84 best offer Aux-UK stock). Came today and the look well built. But as its -3 outside the install will have to wait a few days. 😁 I'll keep hold of the nightbreakers for MOT time. 👍
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos Will do. Need to go find an unlit country road to see how good they are as the LED street lights here are really bright, which is probably why so many people just drive around at night without any headlights and just DLRs.
Well actually got around to fitting them today and as you say you have to see them to believe them. 😮😎 The beam pattern is actually flatter than the original halogen bulbs. Also the high beam is far more focused on the road rather than lighting up the trees at the side. Had a drive up a completely dark road and very impressed. Think I'm going to get some H11 ones for the Mazda but need to read up as they seem to do different ones.
6:59 when you dip it looks like your lights are aimed really low, was that intentional for the video? Would love to see them on a proper road for distance and how they light stuff up compared to street lighting. Also if you remember I asked about the Philips Pro9000 on another video, I've got some "on order" (Christmas present), can't wait to go back to LEDs. These philips x-treme vision were great but the 420 hour lifespan is ridiculously short.
I think it’s just how the camera shows it, they light the way really well. Let me know how the Philips are. I’d test them myself but funds are tight at the moment as I’m spending most of my money on fixing my house up and Xmas. I honestly can’t see these being easy to beat though, I’m well impressed with them.
I followed from your previous Auxito bulb review and did the same the the back, did the crystal look and changed the front indicators as well as the main beam. All with Auxito bulbs. Looks brilliant. I can't fault Auxito they do make really good products. I'll agree with you entirely they do not dazzle on coming drivers so why it's an MOT fail is beyond me.
Yes they’re brilliant mate. Everything I’ve ever had off them has preformed excellently. I think the MOT rules were actually brought in before anyone had sussed out how to make LEDs that make a proper beam and don’t dazzle tbh.
Thanks for the review, tempted towards LED’s but want to buy something that’s not gunna burn car down and is just decent, dont wanna spend money on ebay junk, your opinion on this brand is noted, Cheers.
Honestly I’m extremely impressed with these, but everything I’ve ever had from this brand has been nothing short of excellent. These are about £35 and for the money I’m positive that they are the best available, but even if you’re willing to spend more money I doubt you’re likely to find ones that are any better than these tbh.
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos mine’s an old bmw e34 so takes the h1, they seem to have a fan and fan less option, Thinking I’ll try fan-less as they seem the most plug and play (I cant see the pin for the fanned option in pics online) Don’t suppose you’ve compared between the two before for like brightness/longevity? Or how to plug the h1 fanned in? either way thank you mate I feel I’m pointed in the right direction and probably saved a bunch of money and time messing about or just looking through endless brands, much appreciated, P.s. yes! 🙇♂️
@@anonintellect9882 I’ve not tested any H1 but I put H7 in my E46 in a previous video. The didn’t have a fan in those ones but do work very well. I had Novsight ones in previously which also were good, but not as good as the Auxito ones and they were harder to fit and required adapter clips. The Auxito went straight in. I’ll post a link to that video if you’re interested as it will likely be more relevant to your car as H1 and H7 aren’t that different compared to H4.
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos That’s awesome, I’ll check it on your channel, is there a big difference between the osram nightbreakers and the auxito led’s? Cheers man.
Hi these look really good the standard bulbs in my bug are worthless. I have a 2011 Citroen C1 the one liter version. On the eBay link where it says add your car it tells me these bulbs won't fit !! Is that right 35.00 quid I could do without losing. Love the vids BTW
Yea no problem, these should help the ones www.ebay.co.uk/itm/404270915223?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=q3zwfnrcrrg&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=B24T_G0JTKS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos Great thanks mate, ordering today. Im going to be away for a few weeks but as soon as im back will fit them and let you know what i think. Love the style of your vids, keep it up
I have a aygo 2007 automatic car slipped out of gear and came up with a red cog with exclamation mark in the middle have to switch car on and off wait a few mins . Any ideas ?
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos thanks for the reply looking online could be accuator gear box / clutch 😣parts are cheap just the labour gonna probably be the most 👍🏾👍🏾
It doesn’t matter on this car as the headlights aren’t on a canbus, but some cars they will possibly show as an error. The same brand ones I fitted to my bmw show an error until you turn them on, then the error goes and stays off til next time the ignition is cycled. Ballast resistors can usually be added to stop the error messages on other cars
Th original bulbs are showing their age now, they seem weak compared to other cars on the road, could be time for a complete change over. Thanks for the vid.
Yea definitely. The lights on these are pretty shite as standard, and I think it’s exaggerated by everyone else on the road having comparably much better ones these days.
Mate can we speak somewhere since I just need some help derestricting GY6 50cc engine? I know you made a video about cutting that shit off the top of the carb thing or whatever, but not sure if my bike has an electronic sensor etc.
What i really need is for you to get yourself an Avensis 07 diesel. Then at least i can have a laugh while I'm trying and failing to copy repair videos!
These are the ones. Feel free to put a note to seller that you saw them on “Stupid Bloke Stupid Vidos RU-vid”! P.s. You won’t be disappointed with them, they are brilliant www.ebay.co.uk/itm/404270915223?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=q3zwfnrcrrg&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=B24T_G0JTKS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
There’s a link to the website in the info or they are on eBay www.ebay.co.uk/itm/404270915223?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=q3zwfnrcrrg&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=B24T_G0JTKS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Yes it does use less power but you need a load resistor in as the computer thinks the bulb is blown on most cars. The resistor tricks the car thinks it still got standard bulbs in
