Here on this final episode we do a last compression test after racking up a little bit of miles in 2-3 days span
we head to DynoPro for the final Dyno session and to see the improvements we made by way of improved efficiency.
We delve a bit on the Grounding Kit we made and designed as well as show the voltage stability this car gets and ofcourse the dyno session tells us ALOT about what to change or how to approach the next mods as well as the importance of a tunable ecu

even without a tunable ecu you could still get a cheap adjustable fpr and give it a little more fuel pressure to compensate a bit

Thanks my brother waited big time for this moment,let me mention to everyone that srdmotorsportstv is the only guy who disclosed the mystery behind a sohc d16y8/y6 optimum potential,we now know that how much whp a complete stock block d16y8/y6 can make with some port and polish,104 whp with a stock air filter box,wow.

woooahh grabe, from di ba na rerebuild eh oks na nung na rebuild na mas lalong tatagal to as long same padin alaga, and napaka linis ng loob no stains. anong langis kaya ginagamit nya?

True it’s well kept…I think now we just used generic oil but always made sure they changed it before it reached 4months

I’m making another one asap for my own car loool I mean I did this before but The terminals now and clamps are waaaaay better Plus my current car is not my old hatch this 4door never had this

I remember a friend of mines did a full ground kit on his car and when he was done all of his lights and were way brighter etc that's the power of proper grounding. Loved the video man

I explained it in the Video and if it isn’t the same kit I built , the results may be different as I’ve seen people make a wire and terminal connection with “doubtful” quality crimping and connections creating a variance in resistance on each wire so definitely different

Yun sana Sir! Sayang po wala po kasi dyno dito samen, butt dyno lang po gamit. Haha. Tapos video collage ng acceleration, 2nd gear roll from 60kph - 180kph. Speed comparison na lang po kung mas bumilis ba angat ng speedo or hindi. Hehe

Thanks man! Next is prolly to see if we got an incoming siR (b16) civic we can do this way and share comparative results or even a CRV Before my personal d16a6 as that would be extensive cuz each manifold test id like to dyno so that could get costly lol!

Here in our country it’s on average $3,500 on the hatch and roughly $4,500 for the b20vtec that runs 12s as we did

Short ram maybe not much maybe same or a bit more because of proper tune But with Cold Air Intake? Maybe more Because remember on the video the Ram Air was or is actually same length as cold air intake :) Shhhh secret right there haha

Interesting to see the same style build slug it out in a stock class circuit race, just imagine this has a stock ECU and already has 99% VE :)

So true on 3:58 in all honesty prior to the final base run me and my colleague knew it felt snappier and better Though we did not expect 112whp on ram air Maybe we were expecting 108-109whp lol But notice on the AF graph it spikes up lean right at the top Tells me as is but add tunable ecu this could easily do 112whp on airbox maybe lol

@@findtherightbeat actually now that u brought that up again just like our old comments on Lxi pntcc style local stock class racing, makes me realize hmm wow it is indeed fun and possible some details I skipped to save expense from owner as this deal was actually a 35k deal for the sake of content… If we had to do this for a competition? You know we are atleast gonna do extra on the valve job (it didn’t get any) and actual porting and maybe some oem header mods… Like the OG HT collector mod I know u remember

@@SRDmotorsports Is the car going home to Mindanao? Really interesting to see how it would respond to a good header and ecu tune, probably > 100% VE. I hope somebody from the Toyota circuit crowd gets you to do their Vios since it's the car that's predominantly raced at local circuit races. Small engine with cam phasing, I can only imagine how efficient it could get.
